Important Notices Regarding Membership Plans
*If using HafH outside of Japan, please be aware that all date and time indications are based on Japan Standard Time.
Billing & Payment
  • Your first subscription payment is charged when you sign up to HafH, and subsequent payments are charged once a month on the same day you signed up on. That date will be considered as your billing date. If you signed up on a date that does not occur every month (e.g. 31st), your billing date will fall on the last day of that month instead.

  • Your monthly subscription fee will be automatically charged each month on your billing date.

  • If we are unable to charge your subscription fee to your registered credit card, we reserve the right to cancel any confirmed reservations, pause your subscription by changing your plan to Snooze, or suspend your account at our discretion.

Your Billing Cycle
  • The billing cycle for your monthly subscription begins with your billing date and lasts for a month. Your subscription will automatically renew monthly unless you make changes to your subscription. Note that if you immediately upgrade and change to a paid plan from a paused subscription, the start of the billing cycle will change will change. The subscription will begin with the billing date corresponding with the date of change and lasts for one month.

  • You can check your current billing cycle from the MyPage screen.

Booking/Using Accommodation Facilities
  • To stay at any accommodation facility you must make a reservation through our website.

  • You can make a reservation request from 90 days prior to your desired check-in date to before 9PM for same-day reservations. (However, reservations are not immediately processed for some facilities. There may also be times when you cannot make a reservation request for your desired accommodation facility. Please check our Help Page for more information.)

  • In order to make a reservation, you will need the appropriate plan, as well as the necessary HafH Coins listed for the desired accommodation. It is also necessary to continue your subscription until your stay. The amount of HafH Coins required is listed on each accommodation facility’s intro page.

  • You may cancel any confirmed reservations until the day before you check in. Note that confirmed reservations can not be cancelled on or after the day of check-in, however unconfirmed reservations can be cancelled on the same day. If you wish to change your reservation, you must first cancel your booking and then re-book with the updated information.

Pausing your subscription
  • If you don’t plan on using HafH for a while and want to pause your subscription (including payments), then you can do so by changing your plan to Snooze.

  • To do this, go to “Change Plan” on your My Page and change your plan to Snooze by the day before your next billing date.

  • Please note that you cannot select Snooze if you have reservations for airline tickets or properties that fall after the next billing date.

  • When you’re ready to start using HafH again, you can restart your subscription by changing from Snooze to a paid membership plan from your My Page. You will have the option to restart “immediately” if you wish to do so.

  • When upgrading "current plan" from a paused subscription to a paid plan, you will be charged immediately. The date you make an immediate upgrade also becomes your new billing date, with each subsequent billing date falling on that same day each month.

  • Your membership information, history, HafH Coins will all be saved even if you choose to pause your subscription.

Canceling your membership
  • You can cancel your membership by notifying us. Please check out the FAQ for more information.

  • Except in certain circumstances, canceling your membership will delete your account information including usage history, membership status, and any HafH Coins you’ve accrued (not including phone number and email address). Once your membership has been canceled, you cannot restore your account.

  • You cannot create a new account using the same email address/phone number that you registered with the cancelled membership.

  • If there is a possibility that you may use HafH again in the future, we recommend that you pause your subscription by changing your plan to Snooze.
