Taichung Station Front! A Highly Accessible and Cost-Effective Hotel

I returned to Taichung Station late at night and had to leave for Taichung Airport early the next morning. I just needed a quick check-in, take a shower, and sleep... and that’s exactly what I did. The essential facilities were compactly arranged, yet the room layout wasn't cramped, allowing for a comfortable stay. The best part is the excellent access!

A Hotel with Delicious Breakfast

I was looking for a place with good access for my stay in Taichung. I chose this accommodation because it's a 5-minute walk from Taichung Station and has high reviews. I had high expectations for the breakfast because it was said to be delicious, and it completely lived up to those expectations.

Conveniently Close to Taichung Station!

Although I have visited Taichung several times, it was my first time staying on the south side of the station. I was a bit concerned about the location, but it was easy to move north and south through the station, and I could walk from the station with my suitcase, which was great. I didn't have high expectations since I simply arranged the accommodation looking for the cheapest coin hotel in Taiwan, but it turned out to be unexpectedly good. The room was clean, the common space was spacious, there were plenty of free drinks, and laundry (washing and drying) was free. The breakfast included various options that I wanted to eat. It seems good for long stays too. There were a few points of concern, but overall it was a comfortable business hotel. It seems to be a chain store centered in Taipei, so if I have the opportunity, I would like to stay in Taipei too.

My First Trip to Taichung!

It had been a while since my last trip to Taiwan, and since it was my first time in Taichung, I chose this hotel near the station through HafH. I didn’t research well, so I was a little flustered to realize that the Taichung HSR station and the Taichung MRT station are quite far apart, but this hotel is close to the Taichung MRT station! I heard there’s a free washing machine available, which is great for those traveling in Taiwan for a long time. The indoor painting was quite basketball-themed 🏀. It might be a paradise for basketball lovers 🏀. There’s even a basketball hoop in the room 🤣! The shower was perfect 👍, and the amenities like shampoo smelled nice 🥰. Breakfast was included, but since I was joining a bus tour early in the morning, I asked if I could have something to take since I would leave by 7 AM, and they prepared a simple box with bread and bananas.

I was happy that it was close to the station. The free laundry on the first floor is a big plus for long journeys.
