LAMP IKI is a stylish guest house renovated from a 90-year-old Ryokan. A three-story wooden inn built in the early 1900s. Taking advantage of the atmosphere and charm as much as possible, it has been reborn as a warm guest house LAMP IKI. ■Area It is about 20 minutes by car from Gonoura Port / Ashibe Port. If you take a ferry from nearby, you can reach the uninhabited island of Tatsunoshima called "A Jewel Box of Genkai Nada" in 5 minutes. We can also introduce activities, so please feel free to contact us. ■Facilities The rooftop sauna "ISARIBI SAUNA", the sauna room decorated with Iki bamboo is equipped with a Finnish sauna stove "Harvia Legend", and 200 kg of sauna stones to warm your body from the core. After cooling down in the sake barrel water bath, you can enjoy an outdoor air bath with a view of the magnificent sea and the retro port town. Rooftop sauna: 3,000 yen ■Rooms Shower, toilet and washbasin are shared. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are always available in the shower booth. Service and Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, Hair dryer, Body soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Slippers, Toothbrush, Hanger towel (large) ■Notes Please refrain from chatting at night (after 23 o'clock) as it may cause inconvenience to customers who are sleeping. There is no curfew after check-in, but if you go out or enter the room late at night, please do not disturb the guests in the same room or the neighbors. The hotel is a wooden building that is more than 90 years old, so it is easy for your voice to resonate. Therefore, guests with infants are not allowed to stay at the hotel. In addition, children under elementary school age cannot be accommodated in the rooms on the 3rd floor. I stayed at 'LAMP Iki' on Iki Island, just an hour by ferry from Fukuoka. This guesthouse, renovated from a 90-year-old wooden inn, is a hidden gem where history and refined design blend seamlessly. For breakfast, local grilled fish was served, and I was amazed by its simple yet exquisite flavor. In front of the guesthouse, there is a craft beer specialty shop called 'Island Brewery', where I tasted three types of craft beer while mingling with locals. Each of them was unique and delicious, especially the flavors that resonated the blessings of the island. The emerald green sea of Iki Island, the starry sky, and the warm exchanges with the local people made this trip even more special!

I stayed at 'LAMP Ikki', located on Ikki Island, just an hour by ferry from Fukuoka. This guesthouse, renovated from a 90-year-old wooden ryokan, perfectly combines the charm of history with modern design in a comfortable space. For breakfast, they served local grilled fish from Ikki Island, and I was touched by the freshness of the flavor. Surrounded by the emerald green sea and a sky full of stars, Ikki Island not only offers the beauty of nature but also a luxurious array of activities such as shrine visits and fishing. In the shared lounge and café area of the guesthouse, I was able to comfortably work remotely, making it perfect for a work vacation. In this stay on Ikki Island, rich in access and natural charm, I was able to refresh both my mind and body!

After about 30 minutes on the bus from Iki Port. It takes about 1 or 2 minutes from the bus stop to reach LAMP Iki! This place is a renovated traditional house, with a dormitory on the first floor and private rooms on the second floor and above! The highlight here is definitely the sauna!! Since it's on the rooftop, you can enjoy outdoor bathing while watching the sea! In private rooms, the voices from the neighboring rooms echo quite a bit, so if you’re a light sleeper, it's a good idea to bring earplugs! The staff were also very kind, so I would love to visit again during the same season!
