Introducing Identity Verification for a Secure and Seamless Travel Experience

HafH is set to implement identity verification for all users to bolster safety and security. This initiative aims to enhance security measures and ensure the reliability of its services. By verifying user registration details accurately, HafH aims to instill confidence in the hotels and facilities it oversees, thereby improving the overall travel experience with a strong emphasis on security and efficiency.

How it works

By submitting your identification documents, HafH will verify the details and compare them with your registration information to identify any discrepancies. All documents will be handled with the utmost priority on security.

Benefits of Identity Verification

With the introduction of identity verification, coins previously awarded as bonus coins (including invitation rewards) will now be labeled as ‘Pending Bonus Coins.’ These coins cannot be used for reservations or reflected in your balance until your identity is verified. Once verified, the Pending Bonus Coins will be available for lodging and flight bookings.

Note: Pending Bonus Coins have a 30-day validity period from the time they are granted. To access them, please verify your identity and click the ‘Receive Bonus Coins’ button on the Coin History page to update your balance.

Change in Conditions for Invitation Privileges

Starting August 21, you can invite friends to benefit from the new registration reopening campaign.

Before the Change:

・Invited Friends: Receive bonus coins upon registration.

・Invitees: Receive bonus coins the day after the invited friend’s first stay.

After the Change:

・Invited Friends: Receive Pending Bonus Coins upon registration.

・Invitees: Receive Pending Bonus Coins once the invited friend completes identity verification.

How to Confirm Your Identity and Receive Pending Bonus Coins

1. Register your Kanji name on your profile page (for Japanese nationals only).

2. Click the “Proceed to Identification” button on your My Page.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete identity verification.

4. Check your inbox for the confirmation notice.

5. Once your verification is approved, click the “Receive Bonus Coins” button on the Coin History page.

(If you have already completed the verification, the above screens will not be displayed.)
