A Relaxing Solo Trip in Hayama!

I wanted to see the ocean, so I took a quick 1.5-hour trip from Tokyo to Hayama! ⬜︎ Check-In Check-in here is a bit later at 16:00. I reserved through Hafh, and after stating my name, I could check in immediately, with breakfast reservation also available at that time. Breakfast reservations can be made up to the day before, and I had to decide the menu at the same time as making the reservation. I usually prefer Japanese food, so I chose the spam onigiri set! There were also French toast, minestrone, and gratin among four menu options. In addition to the plate, they had a buffet-style salad, cereals, and drinks (water, milk, orange juice, coffee, and hot drinks). If you have time, it seems nice to slowly enjoy coffee in the morning while working or reading. ⬜︎ 1F Indoor Area The indoor area was very clean, and the shared space (workspace) was well-equipped. It was separated into a tatami area and an area with tables and chairs. You can eat anywhere in this area, whether it’s breakfast, dinner, or in the cafe! ⬜︎ 5F Room (Mountain Side) I reserved a private room (mountain side) and spent my time inside! I chose mountain side as it was slightly cheaper, and the chirping of birds was soothing. The ocean view can be seen from the bath, so I think anyone who doesn’t have particular preferences can relax just fine from the mountain side. ⬜︎ Amenities In the 1F lobby, there are cotton swabs, combs, toothbrushes, shaving razors, and shaving cream. They also provided pajamas and slippers in the room, so for those who don’t mind, you don’t need to bring pajamas. *I don't know about the bunk room! There was also a refrigerator and electric kettle, so I enjoyed a leisurely stay with dinner brought back to the room. In the bathing area, besides shampoo, rinse, and body soap, there’s also cleansing and face wash (this was the information I wanted to know). If you need anything, it would be skincare items! There were oils and creams in the changing area, but I wasn’t sure if they were for the face... I took care of myself with what I brought! I hope this helps you if you're considering a stay!

Ocean Hotel, the best time with friends!

From the moment I arrived at the hotel at night, I felt a different vibe compared to other hotels. Upon entering, I found a spacious lounge with high ceilings that offered a comfortable place to relax. After a bath at night, there was citrus-infused water waiting in the lounge, making it a truly luxurious experience. I stayed in a dormitory, a two-story space meant just for sleeping, but it was more spacious than I expected. I’m 156 cm tall, so I could stretch out and sleep comfortably. In the evening, I utilized the dining area for meals, which had hot water pots, microwaves, and a washing machine, making it feel like I could stay for multiple nights. In a word, it felt like a large vacation home. You don't mind sharing the dining area with strangers at all. The entire hotel has a coastal theme. As you enter, the reception and a big kitchen are visible straight ahead, creating a cozy, homely atmosphere rather than a typical hotel. The bath was an onsen, and it was amazing to see the ocean while bathing. I'm eager to return, and since there are several accommodation options, I’d like to stay on the ocean side next time.

Staying in a dormitory. Detailed report. In Hayama, at a hotel I had admired. I was curious about a low-cost dormitory I could stay in. I uploaded a lot of pictures, so it's a must-see. There is one bath towel and one face towel. A cute light blue bag is included. Loungewear can be rented for 500 yen. There are hairbrushes and toothpaste available. At the entrance of the dormitory, there are a sink, a microwave, and a pot of warm water. You can also have meals at the restaurant, but you can also have meals in the lounge next to it. There are outlets in various places, so charging is possible. We purchased dinner and enjoyed it in the tent while drinking alcohol slowly. It was a spacious space, and even with people around, I didn't mind other people's voices, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The dormitory is divided into mixed-gender areas and female-only areas by curtains. If you wish for the female-only area at the time of reservation, it seems you can inform the hotel, and if there is availability, they can accommodate that. When you think of dormitories, you may have worries about height or cramped rooms, but the room was relatively spacious, allowing women to lie down comfortably. I only know about the lower bunk I stayed in, but it was pretty high, making it easy to change clothes. A bonus point was that the pillows were larger than average, which was nice. There is a hairdryer at the sixth-floor hot spring and the dormitory toilet. The sixth floor has a water dispenser, and you can drink water. There are small paper cups on the sixth floor, but the dormitory toilet has a sink but lacks paper cups, so I felt a bit inconvenient when brushing my teeth. I think it would be convenient if paper cups same as on the sixth floor were provided in the dormitory toilet for brushing teeth. The dormitory room was adjacent to my friend’s room, making it also recommended for friends to stay in the dormitory together. Overall impressions were that the ceiling was high, and in such a spacious environment, I could relax with the sea stretching out in front of me, which was very satisfying. The music playing in the lounge is also relaxing, making it a wonderful space to refresh oneself. I could stay for several days in the dormitory comfortably. There is a small path directly in front of the hotel that connects to the sea, allowing you to reach the beach easily. The sixth-floor hot spring was breathtaking, with a view that extended before me. There is one bath each for men and women in the hot spring. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided. In the changing room, there are moisturizing lotion and milky lotion available. When you take the bus from the station, the nearest bus stop is right in front of the hotel, making it convenient for return trips as well. There don’t seem to be any shops nearby, but there is one convenience store between the bus stop and the hotel. I liked it so much that I would like to stay for two or three days if I could. I hope this information helps those who are anxious about staying in dormitories. Since there was no meal included, I had lunch at Umi no Hotel during my women's trip to Hayama. I enjoyed a luxurious feeling on the cruise as well. Umi no Hotel is one bus stop away from Hayama Marina, where you can board the Hayama cruise. Board the cruise at Hayama Marina and stay at Umi no Hotel. A luxurious full course is recommended. My impression this time is that I spent a luxurious and relaxed time, which truly made for a wonderful holiday.

This was my first trip using Haff! It's my first solo travel in my life ☺️ I wanted to see the ocean and Mount Fuji, so I booked this hotel. It’s a bus ride from Zushi, but there are many buses, and the bus stop is right in front, making it very convenient. There’s a Seven-Eleven within a 5-minute walk. The lobby is very beautiful, and the BGM and ocean are very soothing. The room I stayed in was an ocean view room, and it exceeded my expectations in terms of cuteness! The blue walls and the ocean view from the window were truly wonderful. The sunset was very beautiful, and the view from the window looked like a painting. From the working space, you can also see the ocean. I didn't bring my computer this time, but I thought I’d like to work here leisurely next time. The working space allows food and drinks, which is a nice perk. You can buy alcohol at the convenience store and enjoy it while eating the meal you ordered at the restaurant. Also, this hotel has a wonderful bath ✨✨ You can see the ocean, Enoshima, and Mount Fuji through the large window. Yesterday, I had the whole place to myself, and I could really relax. The hotel staff were all kind and provided pleasant service. I was originally scheduled to come on January 3, but my family got the flu, and I had to cancel. I rebooked for January 8, but I got the flu too and had to cancel again, haha. It was only on the third attempt that I finally managed to come! The ability to cancel for free is also one of Haff's attractions. I paid extra for breakfast, and it was really delicious, so I’m glad I ordered it! There is a shrine right next to the hotel, so it was great to be able to visit in the morning. I’m definitely coming back for sure! It was really wonderful!

I wanted to do a workcation, so I headed to Hayama from Tokyo. It looked like a stylish hotel in the photos, so I went there with high expectations. Upon arrival at the hotel, I found an even more stylish space than expected! The lounge on the front floor has outlets at most tables, and there were several people opening their laptops. The view from the lounge is such that the sea can be seen through the gaps in the building, and when the weather is nice, strong sunlight comes in. It was comfortable, and I was able to work effectively, so I think it's great for working. The dormitory is also spacious and clean. I slept soundly. One of the great things about this hotel is the large public bath! You can enjoy the sea view from the large bath as well. Most dormitory accommodations only have shower rooms, so this was appreciated. There are also famous restaurants nearby, but you can order food in the lounge as well. I had pho which was delicious. I also had breakfast, and it was tasty, with beautifully presented fruit toast. I was left wanting to come back, so I have already repeated my visit with HafH.

It felt like a modern Dragon Palace hotel. Located in the Zushi area, the 'Hayama Umi no Hotel'. A café bar adorned with driftwood and a lounge overlooking the horizon. My stay was like floating to the gentle waves. The restlessness in my heart gradually disappeared. It's easily accessible from the city, making it perfect for weekend refreshment. The green curry for lunch that I had at the café bar was also exquisite. Although I couldn't take pictures, there is a large public bath that soothes tired bodies. I definitely want to come back again!

Solo Trip to Hayama

I had some time, so I abruptly decided to take a solo trip to a seaside hotel in Hayama. Since reaching middle age, I've come to prefer the quiet beach of Hayama over the more bustling shores of Enoshima and Kamakura. Perhaps because it was a weekday and not crowded, I was upgraded to a women-only dormitory. It seemed I was the only guest, and it was an exceptionally quiet day that allowed me to relax wholeheartedly. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The hotel was beautiful from the entrance. It was conveniently located near the beach and a convenience store. Even though it was a dormitory, there was a lovely open space for meals and computers, with a view of the sea from the window that provided a sense of openness. I took a peaceful stroll to Morito Shrine along the quiet beach. The large public bath was on the top floor, and from the window, I could see Sagami Bay, Mount Fuji, and Enoshima. At night, I enjoyed moon viewing on the terrace while listening to the sound of the waves. I paid an extra fee to include breakfast, and I was satisfied with the price. They also offered free bicycle rentals, and I was able to fully enjoy my stay. Next time, I'd like to try snorkeling and walking in the mountains of Kamakura, but I would love to stay here again. There was a shower at the entrance of the hotel, which was great for washing off my feet after walking along the beach.

I was curious about what hotels I could stay at with HafH, and I had been thinking that this hotel would be great! At that time, there was an event exhibition in Tokyo, and after that, I thought, let’s stay at Hayama! It was easy to get there by just one bus from the station, which was very close to the station. If I had arrived a little earlier, I could have walked around the vicinity of Hayama, where the sound of the calming waves was very pleasant. Although my room was in a dormitory, I was able to spend my time comfortably. I really love the overall atmosphere of the hotel. Personally, I found the breakfast I added delicious, and the amenities were good, so I recommend it when you want to relax.

The view of the sea from the front lounge is absolutely magnificent, and I keep coming back! Most seats in the lounge have outlets, making it a comfortable environment for work. You can order food, and I remember the pho being delicious! When I stayed on a Friday or Saturday, the lounge was quite empty, so weekdays are recommended! On weekends, there are many users of the Hayama Women's Travel Ticket, so Hayama is crowded everywhere. Also, it’s rare for a hotel with dormitories to have a large public bath, which is a great feature! The view from the bath is also nice, so it relaxes your tired body. The dormitory also has a private room feel, making it comfortable to stay in. It's a stylish hotel that can be used for both travel and work!

A stylish hotel near Hayama Marina. I stayed in a bank room, which had ample space and was located in a very quiet environment. In the lounge area adjacent to the reception, I could take off my shoes and relax while working, making it perfect for a workcation. The breakfast, served in a semi-buffet style with a variety of main options, allowed me to enjoy plenty of local vegetables. I could eat an abundance of fresh vegetables that I usually don't consume. The hotel staff was very friendly, and from the large communal bath on the top floor (for men early in the morning), I could see as far as Enoshima, ensuring a comfortable stay.

I wanted to bathe in an onsen and see the sea. I searched for a hotel that could fulfill this wish and came here. While gazing at the sea from the raised corner, I did a bit of work on my PC. It was helpful to have access to power. I enjoyed the seaside onsen in the large bath on the upper floor of the hotel, and after bathing, I relaxed on the outside bench at the hotel entrance in the evening breeze. It takes only 30 seconds on foot from the hotel to the sandy beach across the road! I took a walk while listening to the sound of the waves, enjoying the sunset, the sea, and Mount Fuji. In the lounge, relaxing music played, far removed from the hustle and bustle. I had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and everything was delicious. The prices were neither too high nor too low. The bank room was quiet and clean, providing a nice change of pace to rest thoroughly. The baths included both a large bath and a small bath, with alternate use for men and women in the evening and morning, allowing me to enjoy both places.

I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here... I've repeated my visits multiple times since I discovered this accommodation through HafH. After all, the sea is right in front of me. It's wonderful to go to the sea in the morning and enjoy the view. Watching the sunset in the evening while relaxing is also fantastic. And the cherry on top is being able to soak in the onsen while gazing at the sea and the sunset. I couldn't ask for more.
