The condominium-type rooms are cozy and have unique rooms that make a "living-like stay" and the ocean view from the upper floors attractive with the Mr./Ms. set. Enjoying a Spacious and Open Room on My Okinawa Trip!

The hotel has a great location with easy access to Mihama American Village. I used it for my first trip to Okinawa! The room was clean, spacious enough to feel like home, and I was extremely satisfied and relaxed. The building has a simple, apartment-like exterior which doesn't look much like a hotel at first, but that's part of the charm of this place.

I enjoyed Chatan until late at night. After arriving by rental car, there was an unmanned check-in, but when I struggled a bit, the staff kindly helped me out. The interior felt like a clean apartment. I think it's best to go to the center of Chatan by car or taxi. While it's possible to walk, the area is quiet, allowing for a relaxing time after returning.

This time, I used HafH to come to a condominium type hotel called 'BLUE STEAK WONDER CHATAN' located in Chatan, Nakagami District, Okinawa Prefecture. The only means of transportation to go outside of Naha City, Okinawa, is either by car or bus. Access to Chatan, where American Village is located, is necessarily by car. On the day of my stay, I also traveled to the hotel by car. While BLUE STEAK WONDER CHATAN is located in Chatan, it is not within American Village. It is located near Miyagi Coast, a bit away from American Village. You could walk from American Village, but it would take more than 20 minutes on foot. The room I stayed in was a comfort twin. The room is simple with no decorative elements, but it is spacious and feels very open. It felt like I had arrived at a slightly larger hotel overseas. In fact, there seem to be many foreign guests staying here. Since it is a condominium type hotel, there are no card keys, and instead, you receive a “real key” from the hotel staff. It feels like an apartment, and it seems suitable for mid to long-term stays. Opened on December 24, 2020, it is still relatively new, and the kitchen looked clean, as if it had not been used much. The refrigerator is quite large. As expected of a condominium type. The amenity toothbrush was actually made of wood. The bathtub is also spacious and seems to be designed for foreign sizes. While BLUE STEAK WONDER CHATAN is suitable for mid to long-term stays since it is a condominium type, I think that there are not many people who would use it for that long if they are HafH neighbors. Additionally, since it is somewhat distant from American Village, the location may be a bit inconvenient. However, the nearby Miyagi Coast is also a diving spot, so I would recommend it to people who are considering staying in this area.
