The hotel is located in a bustling area within walking distance from Seomyeon Station. It has a similar vibe to the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel found in Japan, and the front desk staff is proficient in Japanese, making it a reliable choice for travelers. There is a sports gym and a large public bath with sauna in the basement; gym usage is free for guests, and the large bath can be used for 9000 won per person. I found the room to be very clean, and I appreciated the strong water pressure of the shower🚿.

A hotel in the busy district of Seomyeon, accessible with one transfer from Gimhae Airport. It’s a bit of a walk from the station (about 8 minutes), but since you walk through the busy area, the distance didn't bother me. The room only has a shower, but for an additional 9,000 won, you can use the large bath & sauna as many times as you want until check-out. There was also water and amenities provided. There is a WOWPASS vending machine on the front floor. I think it’s reassuring for first-time visitors to Busan as they offer support in Japanese.

I arrived at the airport at night, so I chose a hotel located at Seomyeon Station, which is easy to get to! It's a Japanese hotel, so there's no problem communicating in Japanese. Actually, you can get by in Busan fairly well using Japanese 🤪. The room size and shower 🚿 were fine. There was water in the room. You can flush the toilet paper! There are many places serving ddukbokki open 24 hours! Even arriving late at night, there’s no trouble finding dinner 😋. There are famous restaurants known for abalone porridge.

It was my first time in Busan, so I chose a Japanese hotel. From start to finish, they responded to everything in Japanese, and I was able to spend my time very comfortably. Also, the toilet and shower room are separate, so there's no worry about getting my feet wet. The water pressure in the shower felt a little weak, but the strength of the hairdryer balanced it out, so it was a wash! The large public bath was available until 11 PM, so I couldn't use it, but I think it's great for those who want to relax in a big bath. The hotel is located in Seomyeon, where there are many restaurants and massage shops. It's a little walk from the station, but it made for nice exercise. I definitely want to stay again.

We stayed for two nights with our 0-year-old daughter. The room itself is a bit compact, but we were very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and I was surprised at how fluent they were in Japanese. The Wi-Fi rental was also very helpful.

Peace of Mind at a Japanese Hotel

From check-in to inquiries, everything was supported in Japanese, and most of the staff could speak Japanese, making it a hotel I could stay in with peace of mind. It's rare overseas to find amenities like slippers and pajamas, and the cleanliness was outstanding. Although I did not use the public bath as it required an additional fee, the shower in my room was more than sufficient. I had no issues using the provided shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The room was twin-bedded, and while it was a bit inconvenient to open my travel bag, there was a chair available, so I was able to buy sweets with my friend and sit down to enjoy them, which was great. The location was good as well; it took a 10-minute walk to reach the end of the underground shopping street, and the stairs to the right led directly there, so the distance was not bothersome at all. There was also a bus stop nearby, making bus travel quite convenient. I would love to stay here again next time.

Busan is easily accessible as there are ferries from Fukuoka for those in Kyushu. Since it was my first time in Korea, I chose this place for its convenience. Even without speaking English, they understood I was Japanese and spoke to me in Japanese, making check-in smooth. Also, when contacting the front desk, all the staff spoke fluent Japanese, making it a comfortable stay for those who may struggle with English or feel insecure about it. However, the currency exchange machine at the front desk has high fees, so it's better to exchange money at the nearby exchange office within walking distance. The first floor has a café, so you can relax and grab a light snack while working on your PC. There is also a convenience store, so you can go out to buy something even late at night if you get hungry.

What!? Is this Korea? A God Hotel with Japanese Support

I traveled alone to Busan, not knowing much Korean, so I booked a Japanese hotel. And in Busan, it's relatively central in Seomyeon. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but being in Seomyeon makes it convenient! I thought it was great that there was a large public bath, but there was an additional fee required.

Perfect for a Trip with Friends!

I stayed with a friend who is studying abroad in Seoul. The hotel was very clean and there was nothing inconvenient about it. We used a twin room, and although it was a compact space, it was well-equipped, allowing us to enjoy chatting with friends and having tea in the hotel’s café, having a wonderful time. I was personally pleased to find drip coffee among the amenities. The hotel reception staff seemed fluent in Japanese and attended to us with smiles, which added to our sense of reassurance. It was great that we were just a short distance from the bustling area of Seomyun, making it easy to go shopping for what we needed.

The entrance is on the first floor, but the front desk is on the second floor accessible by elevator. The first floor has a cafe and a space to sit down. The first floor cafe is nice, but there are many coffee shops and cafes nearby!

You can communicate in Japanese at the front desk! The service was on par with Japanese hotels. The facilities were clean, and I had no issues with water pressure or odors. The breakfast was surprisingly delicious, contrary to my expectations!

Convenient Shopping in Seomyeon

I was surprised that almost all the front desk staff spoke Japanese. You can feel safe even if you don't understand any Korean! It's within walking distance from Seomyeon Station, and there's a convenience store nearby, plus it's bustling until late at night, making it safe to walk alone. There are countless places to have fun, including Mom's Touch, a self-photo studio, Olive Young, Daiso, and so on, making it a very convenient location. There was also a charging machine for WowPass in the lobby. It was a pity that Netflix was not available to watch unlimited.

The Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Busan is located in the heart of Busan's Seomyeon district. Since it's a Japanese chain hotel, communication in Japanese was smooth, and my stay was very comfortable! Having a WOWPASS machine at the front desk was also very helpful! However, please note that the room's electrical outlets are of the SE type, so Japanese plugs cannot be used without an adapter. It's worth noting that, not just at this hotel, but in Korea, disposable amenities are legally restricted, so free amenities that are common in Japan will mostly be chargeable. You can bring your own, but for skincare and toothpaste, buying them locally at places like Olive Young is recommended.
