From the bathroom and terrace, you can see the picturesque forest on the opposite bank. (Luxury Room) A 55-square-meter room with the interior of G.A. Design International in the United Kingdom. The view bath offers views and soothes the body and mind. * In the case of 3 people, 1 person will be provided with a stacking bed (98×190). (Premier Suite) It is a luxurious suite with a bedroom, an open living room, and an attached room, about 110 square meters in size. Soak in the TV-equipped view bath, or enjoy a luxurious experience with views of the forest and sea on the spacious terrace. ■ About meals "Champagne breakfast" is synonymous with breakfast, which is suitable for spending an elegant time. The name of the champagne is "Piper Aid Chic", the champagne that drove the great actress Marilyn Monroe crazy. For those who do not like alcohol, we will prepare fresh juice of mandarin oranges, a specialty of Saikai City, which has a high sugar content but are refreshing, and Oshima's specialty sweet tomato, and you can choose from dishes such as egg dishes and steaks, and mix farmers' vegetables with dressing in front of you. Set Sail! Enjoy a Gorgeous Bay View Hotel with Monroe Champagne Morning

🚃 Access From Nagasaki Station, take the JR Seaside Liner along the coast to Sasebo Station, then a high-speed boat from Sasebo Port New Minato Terminal to Oshima Port in 30 minutes. I requested a free shuttle service to the hotel at Oshima Port in advance. 🛁 Hotel Interior Instantly captivated by soothing scents as soon as you enter the hotel, enjoy a bathroom with an ocean view, stylish furniture, and drinks in the fridge that are related to Nagasaki, making it very relaxing. The elevator hall is spacious, which was very satisfying! You can also purchase Oshima Shuzo's sake at the shop. The items lined up in the shop and the art scattered around were wonderful! The small walking path is adorned with seasonal flowers, allowing you to feel the changing seasons. I was healed by the considerate attentiveness of the staff. 🍾 Breakfast As a welcome drink, you can choose the champagne "Hyper Aid Chic" that Marilyn Monroe liked for breakfast. This champagne was very delicious, and I ended up asking for a refill! You could also choose Oshima's tomato juice. For breakfast, I chose a Western-style steak. The steak sauce was light, and the dessert fruits paired excellently with the champagne! You can also opt for an omelet. While looking at beautiful paintings, I found myself singing along, feeling as if everyone could be like Marilyn Monroe, enjoying a highly satisfying breakfast, and I was able to relax in my room until checkout. ✨ Other Services Guests can reserve to take a free tour of the Oshima Shipyard from the car. Although it was canceled due to the shipyard's circumstances on the day, I would love to participate next time. The hotel allowed for a quiet and leisurely time, and I was happy with the kindness of the staff. Next time, I would love to stay again with family, friends, or on a special day. It was a wonderful hotel! Thank you.

A Resort Hotel Just a Short Distance from Nagasaki: Enjoy Views from Ōshima Ohashi and Delicious Breakfast

Olive Bay Hotel is a resort hotel located on Ōshima, in Nishi-Kyūshū City, Nagasaki Prefecture. Although it has the address Ōshima, it is connected by the Ōshima Ohashi Bridge, so it can be accessed by car from Nagasaki City or Sasebo City. The hotel was built by Ōshima Shipbuilding for VIP guests, so it has a luxurious feel with careful attention to detail. Nevertheless, it is also open to the general public, and I had a very pleasant experience there. The beverages in the room's refrigerator and the snacks provided are complimentary, and I enjoyed craft beer and delicious local tea after taking a bath. The 'Sonogi tea' you see in the picture was also very tasty. The room has a terrace, and I think it would be nice to relax on the balcony during pleasant weather. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese and Western cuisine. My wife and I selected both, and unsurprisingly, the Japanese dishes were made with various seafood, which were extremely delicious, as Ōshima is rich in marine produce. You can choose drinks such as champagne, mandarin juice, and Ōshima tomato juice, but I highly recommend trying the Ōshima tomato juice. It’s so delicious that it will change your perception of tomato juice.
