This time, I chose this place as a hotel during my road trip! I didn't have time to enjoy the hotel, so my experience is based on arriving at night and departing in the morning. 1. HafH is a good deal! The first reason is this. Haha. Compared to sales from sites like Ikkyu just before my stay, the exchange rate of HafH coins was much more advantageous. 2. The room is comfortable even if it's a double room. When adults stay in a cheap room, it's often too cramped to move, but this one had a reasonable size, with a chair and table by the bed, and a spacious desk for work, which makes it suitable for two adults (the double bed is also sufficiently spacious). 3. Clean room. Plus, the room was clean, and even though the bathroom was a unit bath, it was very tidy. The shower pressure was excellent, and hot water came out quickly. 4. Bonus - The parking is interesting! Sorry to say, this is not about the hotel's official parking but rather a coin parking next to it (so it's almost the same place). Interestingly, there’s a five-story parking lot where the hourly rate decreases by 100 yen for each floor you go up. Why? Because there’s no elevator! You have to go up and down the stairs. So, if you have a suitcase, be sure to drop it off first. But it’s really cheap. If you park after 6 p.m. and leave by 8 a.m., the lowest price is 400 yen. Since I left early in the morning, I ended up paying less than the hotel's official parking. I thought there aren’t many parking lots near Nagoya station that are this affordable near the hotel, but I want to emphasize again, there's no elevator to the parking, so think of the exercise of going up one floor as a fun option that only costs 100 yen. Also, be careful of oncoming cars when going up and down the levels.

As the photos show, I felt welcomed by autumn, and before I knew it, Christmas was upon us as well (⁠•⁠‿⁠•⁠). I received a cute present from Santa at the front desk. Arriving exhausted, such kindness really touched my heart. There was also a bottle of water for each guest, and since there was an ice maker, I relaxed by picking up some drinks between the station and the hotel. The distance to the hotel isn't far, but there are various shops available, so you can find quite a lot of things you need. However, I noticed there weren’t any face wash or lotion available, so I wished I had prepared those beforehand. It was great that I could relax until 11 AM in the morning, which was perfect for my tired body.

Within a 10-Minute Walk from Nagoya Station

To go from Nagoya Station to Shirakawa-go, I chose this hotel for a night stay beforehand. I think it's less than a 5-minute walk from the Meitetsu bus stop. In the morning, I stopped by the Starbucks on the first floor of Mode Gakuen before heading to the bus center. The front desk staff were very courteous, and I was able to enjoy my stay comfortably. The bathroom and toilet are combined, so if that doesn't bother you, you should have a pleasant stay.
