February 2025, Family Trip (Couple + 2-year-old)🌺 After visiting the Moana Surfrider for breakfast during our previous stay in Hawaii, I had always dreamed of staying there. Thanks to HafH, we got a great deal!✨ - Costs HafH coins do not cover breakfast and accommodation tax. We paid about 30,000 yen on-site for breakfast for two adults plus accommodation tax (breakfast is optional and no reservation needed). - Location The Moana Surfrider faces Waikiki Beach, providing excellent beach access! There’s a simple shower between the hotel and the beach, which helps keep the room free of sand. Plus, there are plenty of shopping and dining options around, making it very convenient for sightseeing! - Room We were lucky to check in early because a room was available 🙏. As far as I know, you can only stay in a city view room with HafH, but we enjoyed the lively cityscape from our room overlooking Waikiki Street. The night, which I was worried about, was quiet, and I slept soundly! Although there was no bathtub, the shower had strong water pressure (fixed type) and provided hot water, which was stress-free! The toilet had the nice feature of a washlet☺️. - Service Many of the staff at Moana Surfrider are Japanese, and everyone was kind and friendly. They noticed my child's birthday when checking the passport and gave us a $25 gift 🎁😭. - Amenities and Facilities One of the most helpful things was the coin laundry in the basement. Since we stayed on the last day, we were able to clean all the clothes we wore during the trip and our wet swimwear before going home. 💰Laundry $6, drying $6. Being able to celebrate my daughter's birthday at a dream hotel is a treasure for life. When I visit Hawaii next time, I will definitely want to stay here again!
