If you want to enjoy a bath and sauna while staying in Kushiro, this is definitely the place to go (at least among my acquaintances). The large public bath is spacious, and the rooftop open-air bath is also a highlight of this hotel! There's a low-temperature bath called "fukan-yu" in the large public bath, so you can safely immerse small children in the water. The sauna is spacious and maintains a proper temperature to warm you up, and although the cold bath is small, its chill is just right, which my sauna-loving husband praised! Also, there are now children's pillows and pajamas available at the front desk for loan, which wasn't available before. The room we stayed in was a twin, and the beds could be pushed together, making it safe for children to sleep soundly! Everyone was able to sleep well. This place is close to the drinking street, so there are many dining options nearby for dinner. Although it is a distance from the Yukagakukan, you can reach Fisherman's Wharf Moo in about a 5-minute walk, so it's also recommended for sightseeing! Breakfast is on the 12th floor with a great view, and having breakfast while looking at the Kushiro River bathed in the morning sun was wonderful!
