In March, during spring break, I traveled with my kids (one in the 5th year and one in the 1st year of elementary school), a total of three of us, using the Shinkansen “Kodama” 🙆♀️👦👦
My second son is starting elementary school in April, which means he won't be able to share a bed anymore, so this was a last-minute stay!
Since it takes only 15 minutes from Shin-Yokohama to Odawara, we didn't have to take a whole day off work. We could finish work in the afternoon and still enjoy ourselves thoroughly, making it a great deal.
