The building is characterized by its thatched roof, and was designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma. "Marche Yusuhara", which is a fusion of a hotel and local specialty sales, welcomes many travelers as the face of Yusuhara Town. The thatched façade not only creates a distinctive landscape, but also has excellent breathability and heat insulation, creating a comfortable indoor environment by the power of nature. In order to reflect the concept of a "forest" in the city, cedar log pillars are lined up in the facility to create an interior space that makes you feel like you are going around the forest.
