This hotel is quietly located near Suidobashi Station. I stayed for two nights for a workcation. Although it rained all morning, breakfast while looking at the drenched Japanese garden was extraordinary, so much so that I ended up sharing my amazement with the person at the next table, saying, 'This is the best!' Later, after the rain stopped, I worked in the lounge while enjoying the sparkling green view from the open window. In the evening, there was a complimentary coffee service, and many guests gathered in the lounge to enjoy it.

In the midst of busy days at work, when both my body and mind were exhausted, I stumbled across this hotel that felt like a hidden gem in the city. Attracted by its excellent access, being just a 4-minute walk from JR Suidobashi Station, I decided to spend the weekend there. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt my heart unwind at the beauty of Japanese aesthetics, reminiscent of the Edo period. A lush courtyard and a tranquil space spread out before me, making me forget that I was even in the city. After check-in, I first headed to the refresh lounge reserved for guests. I relaxed on the tatami mats and immersed myself in a book I picked up from the library, which reflected the local culture. Before I knew it, I had lost track of time. What left the strongest impression on me was the relaxation room. Sitting in a massage chair and watching soothing visuals on a large screen helped to ease my tension, as if my accumulated fatigue was gently washed away. Normally, due to work, I can hardly find the time to refresh, but during that moment, I felt like I was able to indulge in a luxurious time for myself. In the evening, while holding a drink on the green lounge terrace, I gazed outside, enjoying the feeling of my mind being liberated. The time spent there, with a sense of comfort like "another home", was truly appreciated as someone who works in the city. A place where you can detach from daily life just a little and regain yourself. That stay recharged my energy to keep going again. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone leading a busy life.
