Cabin House Yado is a new type of compact hotel in Fujinomiya City. Fujinomiya at the foot of Mt. Fuji, as a base for leisure and business around Mt. It has good accessibility.

A casual hostel located in a retro shopping street at the bottom of Mt. Fuji, 10-minute walk from Fujinomiya Station. Mt. Fuji looks like a beautiful painting from anywhere in Fujinomiya city. 5-minute walk from "Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha", the head shrine of Asama Taisha, which is famous as a spiritual site with a spring water pond "Wakutamaike", and 7-minute walk from "Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center Shizuoka" where you can experience a simulated climb of Mt. Fuji. The surrounding area is lined with traditional restaurants and traditional retail stores. There are free parking spaces for the first 20 cars or motorcycles. We are popular for Mt. Fuji Climbers and the Asagiri Kogen Campers staying the night before. We will keep your road bike indoors. You can get to the mountains and the sea in about 30 minutes drive!! Also a great place as a base for sightseeing in Fuji Five Lakes, Izu Peninsula, and Hakone. ※Children under 6yrs are NOT accepted. ※A 6yr-12yr old child can share a bed for free only in Aodake or Akamatsu. On my route from Shizuoka to Kofu and Nagano, going to Kofu at night was a tiring journey, but upon re-searching, I found a nice accommodation in Fujinomiya. So, I utilized it for a short stay arriving at night and departing in the morning. As a result, it was great to stop by. I thought it was a guest house, but it felt more like a dormitory version of a business hotel. The front desk response was lengthy, there were plenty of free and paid amenities, the shared space was spacious, and the facility was clean. Access from the station is also convenient. However, while you can move around the facility in slippers, there are no sitting chairs, and the shared space is set up in individual desk styles. Depending on the number of people, it was comfortably adequate. The only concern was that the partitions in the individual spaces and the shower were curtains. Depending on the manners of the guests, it might be a bit concerning. Also, it’s a bit tough if you have a heavy suitcase since there are stairs. Overall, it was convenient. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

I came to Fujinomiya just for sleeping, so I checked in a bit late, but I miscalculated a bit. There was a shower, free drinks, and a convenience store open 24 hours; it was fairly substantial. The biggest surprise was that there was a washing machine, so I did my laundry. Since I was leaving early the next day, I had to settle for some cup Fujinomiya yakisoba in the facility, but I want to eat at a restaurant next time. It looks like I could also rent a bicycle, so I checked out with an image of what I might do on my next visit.
