Easy to Stay with Kids! Excellent Access from Both Haneda and Narita Airports

This time, we stayed with our family to prepare for our flight from Narita Airport the next day. We comfortably stayed with my wife and our 1 year and 2 months old son. The baby bed was available for an additional fee, but since we were told at check-in, we could not borrow it; however, as the bed was against the wall, I could sleep without worrying about my son falling off the bed. The amenities were well-prepared, and since loungewear was provided, we could go without preparing anything special for our stay. The location was excellent, directly connected to JR Osaki Station, making it easy to go even while pulling a carry case or stroller. It’s about 30 minutes to Haneda Airport, about 3 minutes to Shinagawa, and about 17 minutes to Tokyo Station. This hotel is very easy to stay in for those traveling by plane or Shinkansen. This time, our family had a flight from Narita, so we headed to JR Tokyo Station from JR Osaki Station and took a highway bus to Narita Airport from Tokyo Station. It takes about 17 minutes to Tokyo Station and about 70 minutes by highway bus from Tokyo Station to Narita Airport, so access to Narita Airport was good. There was a convenience store right in front of the hotel, so we did not have any trouble with sudden shopping needs. Check-in and check-out were done automatically at the machine, so it did not take much time. Since the location was good and we could spend comfortably, we would like to use it again.

Excellent Access from the City Center! Affordable Business Hotel

The room had a stylish and modern impression, using yellow-green and charcoal! The building isn’t brand new, but the elevator was very clean. I was pleasantly surprised to find two bottles of bottled water provided for free. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. There is a Lawson convenience store just a short walk from the front desk. Nearby, there is an Excelsior Cafe, which is great for nomads! There are many restaurants in the commercial facility where you can enjoy a delicious meal for around 2,000 yen. There was also a market where I could buy my favorite items and enjoy meals in my room. I highly recommend this as a base for business trips as a business hotel. There are reasonably priced dining options available, making it ideal for outings or business trips! I'm not good with crowds, but the area around the hotel was at a moderate level of bustle even on weekends, which was not stressful. Check-in is done at a staffed front desk rather than a machine. I arrived right at the 2 PM check-in start time, but there was already a line for check-in, and it took about 20 minutes to get to my room. There was an impression of crowds with many international guests and groups. With the name New Otani, I had a little expectation that the atmosphere would be nice! However, it felt like an easily accessible business hotel from the city center!

We used the New Otani Inn Tokyo, which is conveniently located near Odaiba and the airport. Since my 3-year-old slept beside us, I contacted the hotel after making the reservation. They arranged for my parents, who made a separate reservation, to have rooms next to ours. It was easy to get to the hotel from Ohsaki Station without getting wet, so it wasn't a hassle carrying my small child. For breakfast, guests get a discount coupon, so even though we booked room-only plus breakfast, we stayed about 5,000 yen cheaper than my parents who booked the same room type with breakfast included.^_^ The walls are thin, so if the kids make a lot of noise, it can echo, so you need to be careful! The hotel had 4 washing and drying machines, and I was able to check availability via an app. It was a miscalculation that the standard 700 yen machine took about two and a half hours.

Directly Connected Hotel with Minimal Rain Exposure for Families, Supermarket within 3 Minutes Walking

The hotel is along the Meguro River, so we enjoyed the night illumination of the river. You can get to the hotel directly from Osaki Station (North Exit → East Exit). A convenience store is right in front of the hotel, but on the first floor down the escalator, there’s a supermarket called Life where I bought breakfast bread and tea. There were also a drugstore and a Sanrio shop there. The twin room was a typical business hotel setup with a unit bath and a washlet toilet. The bed by the wall was somewhat wider, so I could sleep with my daughter, who is in kindergarten. There were two 500ml bottles of water in the fridge, but since we stayed for two nights, I'm not sure if it was enough for one day or not. The air conditioning was central, so I couldn't adjust the temperature freely. Since I went at the end of November, I couldn't tell if it was heating or cooling, but it felt quite warm when turned on. While I wasn’t highly satisfied with the room itself, the convenience of being directly linked to Osaki Station was the biggest advantage. Even if it rains, you can choose your destination and return to the hotel without needing an umbrella. It's just one station to Shinagawa on the Yamanote Line and one station to Ebisu on the Saikyo Line, making it very accessible. I think this hotel would be a good choice for those traveling in Tokyo.

Excellent Access to Tokyo Big Sight! Hotel Near the Station✨

It's directly connected to JR Osaki Station, and there are convenience stores and Saizeriya nearby. We stayed in a room for two, and it was more spacious and comfortable than I expected. Being in a business district, I could sleep peacefully at night. It was a great help that it was just one station away from Tokyo Big Sight✨.

A Convenient Base for Tokyo Sightseeing

I used this place for sightseeing in Shinagawa and Togoshi Ginza. It was very convenient, close to the station and near convenience stores. The double bed was spacious and I was very satisfied. The blackout curtains could close quite tightly, allowing me to sleep well until morning.

【Accommodation Experience】New Otani Inn Tokyo

This time, I came to New Otani Inn Tokyo, which is directly connected to Osaki Station on the Yamanote Line, through HafH. Opened on February 1, 1987, it is a large hotel with 13 floors and a total of 427 rooms, also featuring banquet halls. The room I booked was a non-smoking moderate single, but perhaps because there were available rooms, they upgraded me to a semi-double room. The room size is 15 square meters, which is not particularly spacious, but it was perfectly fine for one person. Honestly, it feels quite cramped for two people, so if you are two, you should definitely book a non-smoking moderate twin. The room amenities were minimal, and any other necessities need to be brought up from the lobby. The bathroom has a unit bath and feels like a business hotel standard. I also felt the bathroom was slightly small, but it was no problem for normal use. One slightly disappointing aspect is that, like many older hotels, there are not enough power outlets. There are 2 outlets and 1 USB port on the desk, but none around the bed. You really want at least three outlets, including a USB charger, around the bed. The hotel has a restaurant and a cafe, but since HafH only offers a room-only plan, if you want to eat at the hotel, make sure to book a restaurant in advance. The moderate room felt like an ordinary business hotel, but if you upgrade the room type, there seem to be lovely rooms like quality rooms and executive rooms. Right in front of the hotel, there is a convenience store, which is convenient for purchasing breakfast or late-night snacks. The advantage of this hotel is definitely its excellent access from Haneda Airport, being located right in front of Osaki Station. If you have business in the Osaki or Gotanda area, you might want to consider it.
