Located in the Kurosawa Onsen district of Yamagata Prefecture, "Yuyu no Sato Yusa" is an inn that boasts its own hot spring water gushing out from the premises and a large public bath with a superb view of the magnificent view of the Zao mountain range. It was reopened in December 2022, and Ofuro Cafeyusa was born. In addition to the functions of conventional hot spring facilities, we will provide food and beverage facilities and free coffee based on the concept of "CAFE", and about 8,000 books, comics, and magazines will be available. There are various spots such as the co-working library, garden sauna, and children's area, where you can relax and spend your free time. Guests can use the free space from 10:30 on the day of check-in. A very stylish and wonderful place!

It was a very stylish space where I could relax while reading books on a cozy bed or swaying in a hammock. There is a kids' space on the second floor, so families with children seemed to be able to spend time without getting bored. Since I used it on a weekday, I was able to use it without any crowding. The bath was also a private state at the right timing! The outdoor bath felt great. The temperature of the onsen was just right, and the water was clean. The bathing area is equipped with everything necessary, including makeup remover, facial wash, shampoo, treatment, and body soap. There was also a sauna, but I did not use it this time. If you wear the provided clothing or swimsuits, you can enter the sauna space where men and women can use it together. You can choose from three colors of the provided indoor clothing: blue, green, and pink. Towels can be exchanged for new ones as many times as needed. Near the restaurant, there is a coffee maker and icy water available for free use, so I never had trouble with drinks. The room was a twin room on the first floor with a parking lot view (laughs). Although the room was aging, it was well cleaned, very spacious with a sofa, and I could relax comfortably in the room. I thought there might have been too few outlets. The refrigerator was small, and there was icy water prepared inside it. The cooling wasn't very good. It seems like they also have a wreath-making activity every day, so for those with time, participating in that paid activity might be good. I debated whether to eat out for dinner but decided to use the restaurant inside the facility. We ordered pork steak. It is served with balsamic vinegar sauce. It was very tender and delicious. The accompanying vegetables were also colorful, and the pickled cherries were rare and fresh. The price was reasonable too. The quantity was just right for women, so I think men might find it insufficient. Check-out was around 10 am. You can pay cashlessly with electronic money. When I went out to the lobby, the staff held a hanagasa (flower hat) and took a commemorative photo for us. When the car drove away, they waved until it was out of sight, providing truly heartwarming hospitality until the end! I would love to come back. Thank you very much!
