A Different World Just off the IC! Beautiful Hirushan and Delicious Food

Reliable Fairfield. The facilities were clean, and the staff were kind. Since I went in early March when snow was still remaining, the view of the snow from the window was beautiful. I slept next to my child, but in the twin room, it was not too cramped, and we were able to relax. In the lobby on the first floor, coffee, tea, and miso soup were free, so I had them along with breakfast. At the roadside station right in front, there were many local vegetables and sweets, making for good shopping.

I stayed at the ‘Fairfield by Marriott Okayama Hiruzen Kogen’ as my base for the Okayama trip! This place was incredibly comfortable, and I was very satisfied. ☕ A lounge with an abundant selection of free drinks Being able to drink coffee, tea, and even miso soup for free was truly appreciated! It made for a smooth start in the morning, and in the evening, it was the perfect place to unwind. 💻 Ideal for remote work With Wi-Fi and power outlets available, it’s perfectly suited for remote work. Working in the lounge or my room was stress-free, making it a great travel style while working. 🏺 A space where you can feel local culture The lounge was decorated with Okayama's crafts and stylish interiors, making it fun just to look at. Additionally, there were books available to learn about history and culture, satisfying a bit of my intellectual curiosity. 🛏️ Rooms with luxury and cleanliness The rooms had the luxurious feel typical of Marriott while being very clean and simple in design, providing a calming atmosphere. It was a nice touch to have free water and tea provided! Whether relaxing on the sofa while watching a movie or quickly working at the desk, it was comfortable regardless of how I chose to spend my time. 🎁 Receiving gifts for filling out the survey! It's generous to get drinks or snacks as a thank-you for filling out a survey. Here, I received a local yogurt! I felt the thoughtful service and liked it even more. This hotel is perfect for a trip that balances work and relaxation. I definitely want to repeat this experience when I go to Okayama again!

Parking is free, making this a regular stop for road trips. No matter which Fairfield I stay at, it always offers the same reassuring comfort of a hotel. There were instant tea and miso soup available for self-service. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are also available, but they were fully booked on the day I stayed, so I used them at another Fairfield the following night.

It was right after getting off the highway. The exterior looks a bit shabby compared to Marriott, but the interior was quite nice. The parking lot was spacious and had plenty of spots. My first thought upon arrival was that the bed was high! It was a bit nerve-wracking for those with kids. The bathroom was stylish and modern. The Koizumi hairdryer had a strong airflow, which was great. There was not only a coffee maker but also a microwave and a toaster. They provided disposable chopsticks and spoons, and it was nice to be able to drink instant miso soup.
