Great Value: The Best Hotel for Sightseeing in Naruto

I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Awaji Island Fukura. The hotel is adjacent to the roadside station 'Fukura' and Fukura Port, making access to the Naruto Uzushio Cruise excellent. The guest room was simple and elegantly designed, clean, and comfortable to stay in. In particular, the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to thoroughly relax after my travels. The free Wi-Fi speed was also satisfactory, so I had no issues with work or watching videos. There is no restaurant within the hotel, but there are many eateries nearby where you can enjoy fresh local seafood, so I had no trouble finding meals. Additionally, the staff members were kind and provided detailed information about sightseeing. ※ The lobby has an eating area and a coffee machine, so you can enjoy delicious coffee for free. There's also instant miso soup! As mentioned in other stories, the bathroom only has a shower with no bathtub. Also, there is no conditioner, just a combination of rinse-in shampoo and body soap, which was a bit disappointing. Despite it being a long weekend, I was able to book at the usual price through HafH, making it a very good deal! I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

I chose this hotel because it is a familiar Marriott brand. It was very comfortable and nice! While it is not a fully inclusive hotel with two meals, it is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a comfortable local stay👍 ★Recommended Points ① A new and clean hotel Opened in 2022, both the interior and rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable! The cleanliness of the bathroom facilities left a particularly good impression 😎 ② Perfect base for local experiences Nearby, there are ports where whirlpool cruises in the Naruto Strait depart, roadside stations, a market where you can buy local souvenirs, as well as restaurants and hot springs, providing many opportunities for local experiences✨ ③ Little hotel services There were free parking, a coffee machine in the common area that was available 24 hours☕️, and a small shop which added a nice touch to the hotel experience🙏 (I especially appreciated the instant miso soup😊) I encourage everyone to use this hotel as a base and enjoy your trip to Minami-Awaji & Naruto!

The base for my Awaji Island sightseeing was Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Awaji Island Fukura! It was absolutely the right choice to stay here!✨ First of all, the lounge is amazing! They offer free drinks, including coffee, tea, and even miso soup! It feels so luxurious to enjoy as much as you want. The Wi-Fi and power outlets are on point, making it perfect for working. Plus, the terrace seating lets you unwind while soaking in the fresh morning air. The coffee here was exceptional! Additionally, there are books that allow you to feel the local crafts and culture, which is a fun point. While learning about the history, I could deeply immerse myself in the charms of Awaji Island. The guest rooms, as expected of Marriott, are simple yet luxurious and very clean. It's great that water and tea are provided too. You can lounge on the sofa or work at the desk, making it very convenient! Also, when I filled out a survey, I received a surprise drink and snack! This time, I got a Pepsi. In the room, I enjoyed Awaji Island coffee and yogurt purchased from a nearby supermarket. Both offered local flavors, adding to the travel mood even more! It was truly a fulfilling stay, and I absolutely want to stay here again! 😊

A Hotel Where You Can Enjoy Awaji Island

Fukura, located south of Awaji Island. This was my first trip to Awaji Island with my child, and there were great access points nearby to England Hill and Uzushio Hill. The hotel was very new and beautiful. In the hotel lobby, there were large tables and chairs, coffee servers, and we used them during breakfast. There were many restaurants around the hotel, and I received a local map at check-in, which made it very convenient.

This is a beautiful Marriott hotel! You can stay in a more luxurious hotel than I expected. I felt like this is what hafh is all about, being able to stay in such a wonderful place so easily. The lobby has a large sofa, tables, and a simple kitchen, already making it feel like a large suite room. There is a coffee maker where you can enjoy coffee, and there’s also hot water available. Instant miso soup is provided, so you won’t have any trouble with snacks at night. The room was a twin room, and the sink is set up like a counter, making it feel spacious. There is a sofa in the back where you can relax comfortably. The bedside lamp is stunning, made of amber glass, and I found the interior decor to be tastefully done. At check-in, you will be advised on how to register for Marriott hotel membership. Registration is not mandatory, but it seems to come with perks, so it might be a good option for frequent hotel users.
