As a base for my travels around Hyogo Prefecture, I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Tajima Yabu. The stay here was the perfect space to reset my mind and body between travels. In the lounge, it was a pleasant surprise to find free coffee, tea, and even miso soup available. With Wi-Fi and power outlets available, I was able to smoothly handle some light work in a comfortable environment. Additionally, a bookshelf showcasing local crafts and culture allowed me to enjoy the charm of the region through reading. The guest rooms offered a quality luxurious feel typical of Marriott while maintaining a simple and calm space. The provided tea and mineral water added a touch of relaxation. I was able to unwind on the sofa and focus on work at the desk, allowing for a comfortable stay tailored to how I wanted to spend my time. I was also pleased to receive a thank-you gift for answering a survey. This time, I chose jasmine tea and enjoyed a moment of relaxation in my room. During my stay, I also took advantage of a discount service to a nearby "Tennyo no Yu" simply by showing my hotel key card. I relaxed in a variety of hot springs, including indoor baths, outdoor baths, a jet bath, and a sauna, which helped heal the fatigue from my trip. I appreciated the thoughtful touch that allowed me to bring my own towel from the hotel. After the bath, I stopped by a nearby roadside station and tried the local specialty, sansho ice cream! I was a little concerned, but one bite reminded me of the popping shower from Baskin-Robbins, making it a fitting end to my journey. This hotel allowed for a comfortable stay where I could fully enjoy the charm of the local area. Next time, I hope to take more time and explore the town of Tajima at a leisurely pace.

A Soothing Detour on the Way Home - Family Memories at Fairfield by Marriott

This was our third stay at Fairfield by Marriott. We stayed as a family of four on our way home! Due to construction on the toll road, we ended up checking in late, but we received a call and a warm welcome when we arrived. The next morning, we woke up early, did a bit of work in the lounge, had breakfast as a family, enjoyed some cafe time, and checked out early. Though it was a short stay, it was a comforting experience for both the mind and body.

A Wonderful Hotel for 1 and 5 Year Olds Without Waste ♡

It’s a very beautiful and sophisticated space without waste!! The facilities are just the bare minimum, but the room layout is well thought out, and it was a room where we could relax well. We used it with 4 people, sleeping together with our 1 and 5-year-old children. When we informed the hotel that we were with children, they prepared a bed guard and a trash can for diapers. If I had to be picky, the bed was a bit narrow, but that was acceptable! It was easy to find and close to the interchange, and the neighboring roadside station was lively, making it a favorite place for the kids who want to come back again!

In the scorching heat of August, I visited on a weekday via the free Kita-Kinki Toyooka Expressway from Osaka. There were few people around, creating a calm atmosphere. The building seems to be relatively new, and upon entering the lobby, a pleasant aroma wafted through, and it was a beautiful hotel. A lobby lounge was provided where complimentary coffee and tea could be enjoyed, and you could relax while looking at the greenery from the terrace seating. The room was a standard room. The toilet and shower were separate, both very clean. The large TV and comfortable bed allowed me to unwind and relieve the day's fatigue in the calm room.

Sleeping Like a Princess in a Luxurious Bed

I had a separate room from my friend, and the bed was luxurious and comfortable!! I'm hooked on Marriott hotels. I've already made reservations for Okayama's Hiruzensan and Tsuyama this summer. I'm looking forward to the king rooms!!
