A Luxurious Hotel Overlooking Osaka Bay in Awaji Island

Since it was a rare trip to Awaji Island, I booked this hotel. Both the exterior and interior had a calm atmosphere, and I was able to relax very much. And above all, right in front of the hotel was Osaka Bay. While being caressed by the pleasant sea breeze, I spent a luxurious and leisurely time. I would love to stay at this hotel again the next time I go to Awaji Island!

I Wish I Could Have Come in Summer

It's a simple and beautiful hotel. Since it was the end of the year, there were no stores open nearby, so it was a good decision to buy some food at the supermarket before heading there. I was able to see the first sunrise of the year from near the inn.

My First Visit to Awaji Island Was Amazing! A Must-Repeat Destination

I enjoyed my stay on Awaji Island based at the Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Awaji Island Higashiura! This hotel has so many wonderful features that enrich the travel experience. First, in the lounge, I was able to relax while taking in the breathtaking view of the beach, and the terrace seating was comfortable with a pleasant sea breeze that made me lose track of time. Additionally, the free drinks were plentiful, including complimentary coffee, tea, and even miso soup! If I were to work here, I'd be incredibly productive! The Wi-Fi and outlets were well-equipped, and the comfort was exceptional. The guest rooms also did not disappoint with Marriott quality. They were simple yet clean, with a solid sense of luxury. The presence of water and tea amenities was a nice touch! Furthermore, I was lucky enough to stay in a room facing the sea. At night, the beautiful contrast of the moonlight and the sea, and in the morning, the grandeur of the sunrise made for truly luxurious moments. Inside the hotel, local crafts and interior decorations were displayed, and there were books available to learn about Awaji Island's history and culture, making it perfect for rediscovering the charm of the area. I was able to gather travel information comfortably while relaxing on the lounge sofa. Additionally, this time, I received a lovely treat and 1500 Marriott Bonvoy points to commemorate reaching 15 stations in the roadside station project that Fairfield is implementing! The campaign can be combined with HafH, enhancing the sense of value even more. Plus, don't miss the souvenir received by answering a survey; this time I got "tako sen" to savor the flavor of Awaji Island. During my stay, I constantly thought, "I want to come back here!" It was such a comfortable and enjoyable time! If you're looking for a base for sightseeing in Awaji Island, I highly recommend staying here!

Accommodation Experience That Looks Like a Sea Painting

I had booked a standard room, but since there was availability on the day, I paid an additional fee to upgrade to a sea-view room. The view from the room was like a painting, with the western coast of Awaji Island's sea right in front of me, featuring a sandy beach and the vast ocean.

Convenient for Sea Bathing!!

During the Obon holidays, we suddenly found a vacancy, so I went on a mother-child sea bathing trip with one elementary school child and one preschooler. The beach was right in front, and since there was a hose to wash off sand next to the hotel entrance, it felt like a super clean beach house! After rinsing off the sand, it was convenient to use the coin laundry as well. I usually can't sleep well at hotels, but the bed here was so comfortable that I slept really well!! Our room was on the first floor with a view of the roadside station, haha!
