Family Trip with Two Children!

The room was compact but clean and stylish. I was worried about staying in a twin room with a total of four people: two adults and two children, but we managed to stay comfortably because there was also a sofa. We received toothbrushes for the children, and the staff at the front desk were polite and friendly. In the lobby, we could enjoy coffee and instant miso soup, so we had breakfast in the lobby during our stay. There was no bathtub, just a shower in the room, but there was a hot spring just a short walk away, so we were able to enjoy that as well.

Since it was newly opened, it was clean. There is a free coffee machine on the first floor. There are only three hotels in Aso available for reservation through Hafh, and this one was the cheapest. I think it was empty since I stayed on a Sunday, but my room was a corner room on the second floor, which faced a house right in front of me! It doesn’t seem like every room offers a wonderful view of Mount Aso. Since there was rinse-in shampoo, those with long hair should definitely bring conditioner!!

The inn serves as a base, with easy access to the station, buses, roadside station, convenience stores, hot springs, and ramen. It seems there are many foreign visitors, making it feel a bit like being overseas while still in Aso. The room with a view of the train brings a soothing sound of the train rolling by.

The base for my journey in Aso was Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso! There were so many uplifting points that I want to share! 🌟 The lounge with free drinks is fantastic! Coffee, tea, and even miso soup are complimentary! Being able to drink as much as I want is, to put it mildly, heavenly. 🌟 Work was incredibly comfortable! Wi-Fi was complete, and there were outlets for smooth work. The environment suited for productivity in both the lounge and the guest rooms made me want to live there. 🌟 The terrace seats are a genuine relaxation spot! Sitting in a green, comfortable chair and taking a deep breath, the clear air of Aso permeated my body. The relaxation was outstanding! 🌟 A space where you can connect with local culture and crafts! The hotel features a range of books about Kumamoto's crafts, history, and culture. It's a delight that keeps you there longer than expected. 🌟 A guest room radiating Marriott's luxury! It’s clean with a simple yet elegant touch. The provision of water and tea is a nice addition. 🌟 Comfortable sofas and a practical desk! When I want to relax, I can use the sofa; when I want to focus, there's the desk. Both options are superbly handy. 🌟 Enjoyable perks for survey responses! Getting drinks or snacks as a thank you is a nice service! This time I chose "Nacchan Orange" and enhanced my travel mood. The stay enveloped in Aso's nature and warm hospitality was the best! I would absolutely love to return!

Enjoying a Family Trip to Aso!

We traveled with a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old, and when we requested a bed guard in advance, they kindly accommodated us. They also prepared bath towels for the children. Originally, we intended to use nearby facilities for meals and baths, so we visited with the mindset of just needing a place to sleep; however, the facilities were very clean, well-maintained, and the staff's response was excellent.
