We look forward to seeing you there. ■ Area information The Okazaki area of Marutamachi is far from the hustle and bustle while moving to the city center. A 4-minute walk from Jingu Marutamachi Station on the Keihan Line. There is also good access to Shijo Kawaramachi in the city center, Kifune and Kurama, and Osaka. ■ Facility Information There is a lounge and kitchen for guests only, where they can prepare their own meals or work on their computers. ■Cafe NINIROOM The café on the 1st floor is a café space equipped with WiFi that can be used by non-guests (8:00-18:00). On weekdays, a lunch made with seasonal vegetables is served from 11:30 to 14:00. There is also a vegan menu. * Meals are not included in the plan price. ■ Precautions Reservations are accepted until 4 p.m. on the day of the event. The front desk closes at 6 p.m., so you won't be able to reply to messages after 8 p.m. the next morning.

京都での宿泊先を探しているなら、「HOSTEL NINIROOM」は間違いなくおすすめしたい一軒だ。シンプルで温かみのあるデザイン、清潔感あふれる空間、そしてホスピタリティに溢れたスタッフが迎えてくれるこのホステルは、ただ「泊まる」だけではもったいない、京都に来るたびに帰りたくなるような居場所だ。今回は、実際にHOSTEL NINIROOMに宿泊した体験をもとに、その魅力をじっくりとお伝えしていく。 HOSTEL NINIROOMの最大の特徴のひとつが、その洗練されたデザインだ。このホステルは、かつて印刷工場だった建物をリノベーションして生まれ変わったもの。その名残を感じさせる無機質な要素を活かしつつ、木の温もりや柔らかい照明が心地よさを演出している。おしゃれでありながら、どこか落ち着く──この絶妙なバランス感が、訪れる人々を魅了する理由のひとつだ。ロビーにはセンスの良い家具やアートが配置され、共用スペースにはゆったりとくつろげるソファや長テーブルが設置されている。仕事や読書をするのにもぴったりな空間で、長時間いても疲れを感じない。ホステルを選ぶ上で、清潔さは最重要ポイントのひとつ。 HOSTEL NINIROOMは、その点においても期待を裏切らない。宿泊者が使う共用スペースやシャワールームは常に清掃が行き届いており、使うたびに気持ちが良い。また、ドミトリーのベッドはシンプルながらも機能的なデザインで、プライバシーを確保するためのカーテンも完備されている。マットレスの硬さもちょうどよく、ぐっすり眠ることができた。特に感動したのは、バスルームの清潔感。宿泊施設によっては水回りが不快に感じることもあるが、ここではその心配はまったく不要だった。旅の宿を特別なものにするのは、やはり人との出会いだ。 HOSTEL NINIROOMのスタッフは、とにかく温かく、親切。チェックインの際に京都のおすすめスポットを聞いたところ、地元ならではの穴場情報を詳しく教えてくれた。また、ちょっとした雑談の中にも気遣いが感じられ、滞在中ずっと心地よい気分で過ごすことができた。ホステルというとカジュアルなイメージがあるかもしれないが、ここでは「宿泊者が快適に過ごせること」を第一に考えているのが伝わってくる。京都の観光拠点として、アクセスの良さは重要なポイント。 HOSTEL NINIROOMは、京阪「神宮丸太町駅」から徒歩3分という好立地にある。観光の拠点としてだけでなく、ワーケーションにも最適な環境だ。共用スペースには高速Wi-Fiが完備され、落ち着いた雰囲気の中で仕事ができる。実際に滞在中、パソコンを広げて作業をしている人の姿も見られた。 HOSTEL NINIROOMには、宿泊者以外も利用できるカフェスペースが併設されている。朝はここでコーヒーを飲みながら、ゆったりとした時間を過ごすのがおすすめ。朝食メニューも充実しており、地元の食材を使ったこだわりのパンやスープが楽しめる。宿泊とセットで朝食付きプランを選べば、より快適な滞在になること間違いなしだ。 HOSTEL NINIROOMは、単なる「宿泊施設」ではなく、「京都での心地よい居場所」だ。おしゃれで快適な空間、親しみやすいスタッフ、観光にもワーケーションにも最適な立地──どれをとっても大満足の滞在だった。京都での宿泊先を探しているなら、間違いなくおすすめできるホステル。一度泊まれば、また帰ってきたくなる。そんな魅力に溢れた、特別な場所だった。

I stayed in a dormitory. The purpose of my stay was "as long as I can sleep, it's okay" and it matched the condition of being within walking distance to Miyakomesse, which was "HOSTEL NINIROOM." The exterior and interior are stylish and sophisticated spaces. The cafe area is open 24 hours, and after the cafe closes, it becomes a space only for guests, allowing for a quiet and calm atmosphere. The dormitory bed was more spacious than I imagined, and there was also space to store my suitcase, making it very convenient. There are showers available, but there are also about two public baths within walking distance, so especially during the cold winter (Kyoto winters are really cold), it's recommended to choose your favorite public bath, warm up, and enjoy a meal on the way back.

Exploring Sophisticated Cafés & Bars in Kyoto

‘HOSTEL NINIROOM’ is a place that feels warm and cozy, as if you’re visiting a friend’s house, making it a must-stay accommodation during my Kyoto trip. It’s located on a quiet street just off the banks of the Kamo River, and I always look forward to taking a stroll along the river each time I arrive. Walking toward the hotel while being healed by the natural scenery by the river feels like I’m enjoying the city of Kyoto even more. The café lounge on the first floor is a lovely space for natural interactions among guests, with a comforting atmosphere. Here, I can leisurely enjoy a cup of coffee while reading or taste unique craft beers that Kyoto has to offer. I feel time slowly passing in the gentle music playing in the café and the pleasant ambiance. The staff members are very friendly and helpful, providing information about Kyoto and offering advice for exploring tourist spots, which is a delightful point. Learning about the local recommended shops and hidden gems allows me to feel Kyoto on a deeper level. The warmth I receive from them makes me feel at home every time I return to the hotel. I eagerly look forward to my stays each time and this place truly makes me want to visit again for a heartfelt relaxing experience.☕️

I stayed at HOSTEL NINIROOM as a base for exploring Kyoto. The location, just a stone's throw from the Kamo River, allows you to fully enjoy the ambiance of Kyoto while taking a leisurely stroll. The hostel is charming with a cozy and warm feel, just like visiting a friend's house. The first floor features a café space where you can enjoy delicious coffee and socialize with other guests, which is a delightful aspect. It’s a heartwarming place to stay where you can experience the slow-paced lifestyle characteristic of Kyoto.

Pros: - The interior and exterior are beautiful. - The 1st floor café is open 24 hours and is free for bringing in food. - The dormitory is quite spacious and comfortable, more than it looks. - Just a 5-minute walk from the station. - There's a bathtub available for reservation (although the location is a bit awkward as it's directly connected to the 1st floor café). Cons: - The 24-hour lounge has few power outlets. - I wasn't sure about the availability of the kitchen. - Every time you enter the dormitory, you need to enter a numeric code, which I found personally a bit cumbersome.
