HafH Stay Challenge: All new challenges, all new ways to collect HafH Coins!

*HafH Stay Challenge is currently only available in Japan.

HafH Coins are required to make any reservation, and all new challenges means all new and exciting ways to collect HafH Coins!

Keep your subscription active and use HafH during the specified period of time and collect HafH Coins!

Here’s a sneak preview of some of the upcoming features!

HafH Stay Challenge – Get up to 500 HafH Coins!
Earn badges, level up, and collect more HafH Coins!

Level up by earning different badges and collect HafH Coins according to your level! You can earn badges for staying at HafH for a certain number of nights or by staying at HafH in specific prefectures throughout Japan.

If you manage to make it to the highest level by collecting all badges within the specified timeframe, you can earn a maximum of 500 HafH Coins.

What’s a Nights Badge?

Level up according to the number of night’s you’ve stayed at HafH during the specified period of time! The more you level up, the more HafH Coins you can get.

What’s an Area Badge?

Earn Area Badges by visiting different prefectures in Japan during the specified period of time. The more prefectures you visit, the more chances to level up. As with the Nights Badges, the more you level up, the more HafH Coins you can get.

How do I level up?

Level up by earning badges. Levels start at 1 and go all the way up to 10, and you earn HafH Coins as you progress through the levels.

You’ll be able to share your status/level on social media.

We’re working hard on this feature to make travel and using HafH even more exciting for all you Neighbors!

We are aiming to release this new feature sometime this winter (northern hemisphere), so watch this space!

The current Challenges on your My Page will no longer be available from 11:59PM on November 25.

Notes on the completion of current challenges that are scheduled to end

There are some challenges where HafH Coins are not immediately granted.
These are:
・Upload ID
・Have your first stay
・Purchase a special JR-West campaign ticket
As these challenges are scheduled to end soon, we will inform you of the cut off date to complete these challenges, and when to expect HafH Coins earned from completing these challenges to be reflected on your account.

＜Completing the “Upload ID” challenge＞

HafH Coins will be awarded for ID submitted and approved within the following time period.

Your ID must be submitted by 11:59PM (JST) on November 25 and approved by December 15.

〈Important Notes on uploading your ID〉

We match the ID you upload with the details you’ve registered on your HafH profile.

Checked/Verified Points

・Full name

・Gender

・Address *Confirming you have registered your address on your profile

・Date of birth

・Validity period of uploaded ID

・Is the uploaded image sufficient/are there any defects

Once you have submitted your ID and all of the above details have been verified, you will have completed the challenge. *Be sure to check and complete any missing information on your profile.

Important:
① There have been a number of cases marked as insufficient due to ID being uploaded with sections like full name, gender, address left incomplete on members’ profiles. Please check to make sure you have filled out all required fields before uploading your ID.

② When uploading a picture of your ID from an iPhone, make sure the file extension is JPG. HEIC format images will not be accepted.

＜Completing the “Have your first stay” challenge＞

You will have to check-in by Wednesday, November 25 in order to be eligible for this challenge. HafH Coins earned from this challenge will be added to your account by around 7:30AM the morning after check-in.

*Finish all 5 of the regular challenges within the above listed time frames to complete the Bonus Challenge.

＜Completing the “Purchase a special JR-West campaign ticket” challenge＞

You have until Tuesday, November 30 to use the train in order to be eligible for this challenge. Please allow up to 1 month (from the middle of the month following the month of purchase) for HafH Coins to be awarded.
