Pasona JOB HUB, ANA Sales, and KabuK Style join forces to develop a remote work tour using HafH

Announcement of the Nagasaki Industry & Culture Package Tour

KabuK Style Inc. (Main branch: Nagasaki, Co-CEOs KJ Sunada and Ryo Osera), Pasona JOB HUB Inc (Main branch: Tokyo, CEO Koichi Morimoto), and ANA Sales Co., Ltd (Main branch: Tokyo, President CEO Junichiro Miyagawa), have joined forces as of today (December 6, 2019) to resolve the lack of action in regional community development regarding the over-centralisation of Tokyo, population decline, and the ageing population issue. To do this, they will help to facilitate matching human resources from the big cities with regional businesses, and through expanding the “connection population” (関係人口) which is a movement that focuses on getting people out into the regional ares who don’t necessarily move to these regions, but are more than just tourists passing by.

The first joint project is a study tour touching on the industry and culture of Nagasaki: Nagasaki Lantern Festival and Gunkanjima (Battleship Island) study tour – A journey to update the marine industry in Nagasaki  – “Nagasaki Marine Tech in HafH Nagasaki SAI”.

※関係人口 ( lit. Connection Population) is the term used for people who help to diversify regions and regional populations: somewhere in between but not including those who move to these areas permanently, and those that come solely for tourism.
(Translated from an excerpt on “関係人口” from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications portal site)

Using its “all-you-can-stay”global subscription service (called “HafH”) as a platform,  KabuK Style is promoting an environment where innovation can be born, by connecting outside visitors to regional organisations and government collaborations and planning.

Pasona JOB HUB offers its “connection population” implementation talent service JOB HUB TRAVEL that supports freelance and secondary work by matching talent from the big cities to small regional businesses.

ANA Sales runs “Journey +” – a planning service for travel with the purpose of problem solving. Journey + supports businesses, local governments and individuals tackling business succession issues and problems facing regional society by arranging tours and travel support.(Planning and promotion are being carries out at ANA Holdings.)

Through this collaboration, these 3 companies will develop/run a tour together that will not only see participants visiting sightseeing spots, but also have them meet with local businesses and organisations at coworking and coliving spaces in the HafH Network, learn about regional issues and come up with ideas to solve these issues.

After the tour, Pasona JOB HUB will support in matching big city workers who want to do freelance or secondary work to help contribute to regional areas with regional businesses.

Each company brings with it know-how that will promote the expansion of “connection population”; Pasona JOB HUB, with its regional business and city talent matching know-how, ANA Sales, with its travel planning and arrangement power, and Kabuk Style, with its planning power and new working style know-how centred on coworking/coliving.

■Collaboration Start Date: Friday, December 6th, 2019
