HafH Nagasaki will continue to operate our coliving/coworking facilities for residents of Nagasaki City during the nationwide state of emergency

Due to the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), Japan has declared a nationwide state of emergency. This also has a direct effect on HafH, making it difficult for our directly operated facilities to continue trading as usual.
The Governor of Nagasaki has said to
・refrain from going out, unless it is absolutely necessary
・for companies to allow employees to work remotely, stagger work hours to avoid peak rush hour times
・avoid crowded, poorly ventilated spaces and remember social distancing even when having conversations.

Following these guidelines, between Monday, April 20 and Wednesday May 6, HafH Nagasaki will operate as follows:

<FYI:The Governor of Nagasaki’s instructions for Nagasaki>
① Refrain from going outside unless for essential reasons
② Please refrain from inter-prefectural travel
③ Refrain from traveling to the outer islands (e.g. Goto, Iki, Tsuhima, etc.)
④ Companies should allow employes to work remotely or stagger work hours to avoid peak commuting times. Work spaces should follow social distancing rules and be well ventilated
⑤ Prefecture operated schools will be closed between April 22 ~ May 6. City operated schools and private schools should also consider closing

Unlike many businesses in Tokyo, a lot of companies here are also not set up or prepared for remote work. While continuing to provide a safe environment for our current members, we will remain open to those residents of Nagasaki City who are looking for a coworking space.

We have been hearing stories of those who have a place of residence in Nagasaki City, but due to various circumstances find it difficult to stay in their homes. For example, there are those who live far from their place of work and have no choice but to take public transport, despite feeling uneasy about it. There are also some who live with elderly/vulnerable family members and are worry about unknowingly spreading the virus in their own homes.
We will provide accommodation upon hearing your current circumstances. Contact us directly by email or by phone on 095-818-8181
Long-term accommodation options for 1 month+ are also possible.

Those from outside of Nagasaki City (or outside of Nagasaki Prefecture) wishing to stay must contact us in advance

As of April 16, it has been reported that the majority of those testing positive for COVID-19 contracted the virus from sources outside of Nagasaki Prefecture. Due to this, locals have started to become cautious around those coming in from other prefectures/ regions.
In following the instructions announced by the Governor of Nagasaki, we also ask that you refrain from inter-prefectural travel and reduce unnecessary movement or travel as much as possible.
For those who find it necessary to come into Nagasaki City and require accommodation, after confirming your current health and circumstances, we will provide bedding in our dormitory style facility called HANARE, located 1 min walk from HafH Nagasaki SAI. Even after checking in, please refrain from going out unless for essential reasons.
