【Starts from 1st Aug.】Announcement of Plan Renewal
To make HafH more convenient and flexible for you, we will be renewing our plans. Before the changes take effect, we would like to provide you with a brief overview.
Plan changes
Starting from August 1, 2023, the current “New Standard” plan will be renamed as “Standard,” and a new plan called “Basic” will be added.
Basic is a recommended plan for those who want to maintain the VIP status. It is also recommended for those who have reduced their travel frequency, but to accumulate coins for future trips. From 7/10, it is possible to change from the current plan to the Basic plan.
Please note that “Basic” has no accommodation restrictions and can also be used for new features such as JAL domestic flight reservations, coin purchases, and reservation splitting. We will also discontinue the old plans*.
The periods during which the old plans can be selected are as follows. After the deadline, the old plans will no longer be available for selection, so please be aware.
・New registration: Until registrations made by July 2nd, 2023
・Immediate upgrade: Until July 9th, 2023
・Changes to future plans: Until July 9th, 2023
*The old plans are as follows:
Conventional plans: Light, Standard, Standard Plus, Premium, Premium Plus
JAL Travel plans: JAL Travel Light, JAL Travel Standard, JAL Travel Premium
JAL Pair Travel plans: JAL Pair Travel, JAL Pair Travel Plus
Migration from your old plan to the new plan
The new plans will be migrated to the new plan sequentially starting with the August billing date. The new plans to be migrated to for each old plan are as follows.
<For those using the “Light” old plan as as of the billing date of August 2023>
Automatically transitioned to “Basic” on the billing date in August.
<For those using old plans other than “Light” as of the billing date of August 2023>
Automatically transitioned to “Standard (currently New Standard)” on the billing date in August.
<For those using “New Standard” as of the billing date of August 2023>
Only the plan name will be changed, and there will be no other changes.

Q: When will my plan switch over?
A: Your plan will automatically switch over from your billing date after August 1, 2023.
Q: What will change with the new plan?
A: The changes will affect those who are currently using a plan other than “New Standard.” If you have a subscription with a plan higher than New Standard (e.g., Premium Plan), you will be switched to the Standard Plan (¥9,800 per month) from the first billing cycle after the transition date (8/1/2023). The monthly payment and the number of included coins will decrease, but you can continue using the services by purchasing additional coins. If you have a subscription with the Light Plan, you will be switched to the Basic Plan (¥2,980 per month) from the first billing cycle on or after August 1, 2023. With the new Basic Plan, you will gain access to features such as coin purchases and flight ticket reservations, which were not available in the previous Light Plan.
Q: Will the payment amount change with the new plan?
A: For those currently using a plan other than New Standard, the monthly payment amount will change. If you are currently using a plan with a monthly fee of ¥9,800 or more, you will be switched to the Standard Plan with a monthly fee of ¥9,800 from the billing cycle in August. If you are currently using the Light Plan with a monthly fee of ¥2,980, your monthly payment amount will remain the same, and you will be switched to the Basic Plan with a monthly fee of ¥2,980. Please note that you will not be automatically charged an amount higher than what you are currently paying.
Q: Can I choose the Basic plan when registering as a new user?
A: No, you cannot select the Basic plan. The Basic plan is available for those who are already using HafH and can choose it when changing their plan.
