Zentis is the new brand of the Palace Hotel, which operates the Palace Hotel Tokyo and other hotels. Zentis Osaka opened in July 2020 as its first branch.
Zentis” is a word coined from “Z,” which symbolizes the ultimate, “entis,” the Latin word for essence, and the Japanese words “zento” and “en.
It expresses the idea of a place where people who have mastered the essence of their own lifestyles can enjoy their stay as if they were living in a house, while opening up a new path and meeting new opportunities.
A hotel like a foreign mansion surrounded by greenery in a business district
Zentis Osaka is located in the “Dojimahama” district. Although the hotel is located close to Osaka’s busiest shopping areas such as Umeda and Kitashinchi, once you enter the hotel, you will find yourself in a mysterious space surrounded by lush greenery and even a sense of tranquility.
Upon entering the entrance, you will find a central atrium, a staircase leading to the second floor, a guest lounge at the back, and an open space surrounded by a lush green courtyard.
Forgetting that you are in a business district, you will feel as if you are in a mansion in a quiet residential area.
The entire hotel was designed by Tara Barnard, a British interior designer who has designed many luxury hotels around the world.
Stylish industrial materials are combined with warm fabrics, wood, and art to create a luxurious yet somehow warm and cozy space.

Rooms with minimalist yet meticulous attention to detail
The room types available at HafH are “Studio” and “Corner Studio”.
The Studio is compact at 25 square meters, but it is designed to be easy to use and can accommodate a suitcase.
The natural color scheme with mustard yellow fabric and the blue of the Shigaraki ware side table add to the sophisticated, calm, and cozy atmosphere.
The artwork on the headboard is eye-catching. The artwork was created by a Japanese artist and was inspired by the concept of Zentis.
The bathroom in the studio is simple, with only a shower booth. There is also a rain shower, so even in winter, you can take a shower all over your body at once to warm up your body.
The amenities in the bathrooms are also typical of Zentis. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are by HUNTER LAB, a natural skin care brand born in Melbourne, Australia.
The fluffy Imabari towels are also carefully selected. The bath towels are an original size, created through trial and error by the staff to match the size of the room and make them convenient to use.
In addition, the bed is made by Sealy, the sheets are 100% cotton, and the top and bottom pajamas are made of herringbone fabric that becomes softer the more it is washed.
The “Corner Studio” is larger than the “Studio” at 32 square meters, and as the name implies, it is a corner room. It has twin beds and a two-seater sofa by the window.
The Corner Studio has a bathtub to relax after a long journey.

Self-serve laundry machines and professional grade irons. The detergent used in the laundry is a Zentis Osaka original made by Kimura Soap, which is produced using the “kettle burning” method by hand, a method handed down since the establishment of the company in 1924.
