Ginza is located in Tokyo’s Chuo Ward. Due in part to the influence of inbound tourism, it is one of Japan’s most bustling commercial and tourist spots, attracting a large number of visitors.

The exterior of Mercure Tokyo Ginza is European style with navy and brown tones. It gives an exotic and calm impression, creating a sense of quiet luxury amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
Stepping into the building from there, one is greeted by a brand wall reminiscent of silver coins. This design is a reference to the history of the silver coin-making government offices that existed during the Edo period, from which the name “Ginza” comes. For this reason, silver coin-themed interiors can be found throughout the hotel, including this artwork on the wall of the elevator hall on the first floor.
Take the elevator up to the second floor, where the lobby is located, and you will find a stylish reception counter. Although compact in size, the sophisticated design and warm hospitality of the staff make you feel even more comfortable. Furthermore, the display shelves next to it are designed with a concept reminiscent of department stores and high brand shops in Ginza.
Guest rooms are located on floors 3 through 12, with a total of 208 guest rooms available. At the elevator exits of each floor, there is artwork with floor numbers displayed in large letters on shopping bags.
Rooms are decorated in navy and pink tones, adding a sophisticated yet pretty touch. The most prominent example is the ottoman chair, which, while compact, stands out in terms of comfort and design. In consideration of sustainability, all in-room amenities are made of plastic-free products.
Rooms available for reservation through HafH at this time are “Superior Queen” and “Superior Twin”.
At Bistro Les Chansons, we especially recommend the butter-filled croissants made with dough flown in frozen from France and baked hot in the kitchen every morning. It is a must-try item.
