HafH is a service that offers “all-you-can-stay” at our coworking, coliving and guesthouse facilities across Japan and the world. HafH (which stands for Home away from Home) is run by KabuK Style Inc.

Here at KabuK Style Inc. we refer to our staff as crew. That’s because we look at our company as being a ship. Our crew are diverse and have their own ideas and goals, but together we steer our ship towards its mission; to create the infrastructure for a society where diversity is accepted for what it is. It’s easier said than done, but one person alone can’t steer the ship!

Who KabuK Style is looking for

●Age, nationality, race, sexual orientation, religion, etc. –  we completely accept diversity at KabuK Style! You don’t need to be living in Tokyo or Japan do apply. We are recruiting crew from all over the world. 

●Crew communicate with each other through English and Japanese. Either languages (or both) are essential for communication. 

●As of Nov, 2019, non-Japanese staff make up 12% of our crew. We also digital nomads (address hoppers) working for us.  Our crew are all different ages, some are raising children, and we also have people from the LGBTQ community among our crew. We strongly believe that the more diverse we are the stronger we will become! 
We also have crew with other jobs and interns working with us.  

●All crew have the ability to work remotely/ with  super flexible hours (except when needing to meet with clients etc. in person). We currently have offices in Nagasaki (Fukuoka), Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and working in these offices is possible. We hold “bootcamps” twice a year where all crew meet up to bond and to discuss ideas etc. for the company.

●We don’t expect you to commit a certain amount of hours, just that you commit to delivering results. While we clarify your job description upon recruitment, we also highly regard the launching of new unanticipated projects. Regardless of the pre-existing organization, we highly regard the teal organizational structure and tackle tasks cross-organizationally.  

●While we do ask that crew commit 100% to their tasks, we also welcome crew who are taking on projects with other companies.

Chief Financial Officer (財務担当者) Looking for people with Accounting/Finance Experience We’re looking for someone who can handle discussions regarding high level financial topics to work under Co-CEO KJ Sunada (a coordinator for a foreign investment bank syndicate team).

Alliance Coordinator
(アライアンス担当者)

While we are supplying an “all-you-can-stay” service, it is not our main mission. What we are truly aiming for is to create a society where diverse people and their diverse values are accepted and respected.

We’re looking for someone who can communicate the sales proposition to businesses compatible with HafH (both domestic and overseas), and create an alliance that benefits both parties.

■Successful applicants should be able to perform the following: 
　・use your alliance management experience to promote HafH with
        confidence
　・can create an alliance by taking into account the merit of both HafH and the
        prospective partner 
　・can maintain relations with the partner even after the alliance is made, and
        can tackle service improvement solutions
    ・can be a bridge between HafH and our worldwide alliance, and communicate
        in a proactive manner

■As the position will involve creating alliances with overseas businesses, a global view and language skills would be a plus.

■Experience in real estate/travel industry a big plus!

HafH Network Expansion Coordinator
(For those with accommodation operation experience)

We’re looking for people who can bring their hotel/accommodation experience and knowledge of OTAs (online travel agents) to support us in expanded our global network. Successful applicants will also act as consultants to assist us in further increasing satisfaction levels across our entire HafH Network. 

■We are looking for those with
   – Hotel / accommodation experience (in Japan or overseas)
   – Experience working for an OTA, knowledge of hotels/accommodation,
     and have good network of business connections

■ Real estate licence and/or travel industry (qualifications) experience highly regarded

Operations Assistant
(営業事務的な、supplierGアシスタント)

Your main duties will be as an operations assistant will be to support the work of the crew. There are no specific qualifications required for this role.
Basic PC knowledge is OK. We have someone to teach you everything you need to know, so don’t worry. Remote work is also a possibility, so you work hours can be flexible to suit your lifestyle. 

＜General duties＞
As an operation assistant, your duties will include
・Processing contracts
・Sending and processing of receipts and invoices
・Simple mail correspondence and documentation in English (You don’t
    have to be able to speak English)
・Data entry
・Other related duties

You will also be required to go to the post office to take documentation that needs to be sent.

Part-time / Casuals

We are looking for cast members to help us running the café and accommodation at our flagship facility HafH Nagasaki SAI. Work alongside a highly-experienced barista, while working to create a space that fits our image. No experience is necessary. Work hours, etc. are also negotiable, so feel free to enquire.
