We’ve begun accepting applications for long-term stays at our directly run property in Nagasaki City, HafH Nagasaki Garden, on December 26, 2020. By staying with us at HafH Nagasaki Garden for 2 months between February and March 2021, you could save over 10,000 yen!

HafH Nagasaki Garden is located on top of a hill that overlooks Nagasaki City. An old Japanese house that was renovated into a modern Japanese-style coliving space.

This is your chance to get away from the big city and head to laid-back Nagasaki for a workation.

A renovated Japanese house and garden overlooking Nagasaki City

Opened in April, 2019, the property has been renovated to be suitable for coliving and coworking – a great place to work remotely from or to make your next workation destination!

Situated on top of a large hill, Garden overlooks the city of Nagasaki with its houses and buildings built into the many hillsides. As you’re away from the main roads and trains, you can sit outside and enjoy the peaceful garden all year round.

As HafH Nagasaki Garden was designed with remote workers and workationers in mind, we have created a large tatami room coworking space that also includes garden and city views!

Desks have been cut out and raised from the surrounding deck, so you don’t have to sit cross-legged all day. There are also desks and chairs available too!

If you get tired and need a break, you can just lay down on the tatami floor, or sit and rest in one of the many bean bags. Plenty of rest helps you to focus your mind and energy.

Wi-Fi and power sockets are a given.

We made these desks nooks from the old cupboards that used to be in this room.

These desk nooks are particularly popular with those who just have to have a desk and chair to get into work mode.

At night, the coworking space offers Nagasaki night view of twinkling lights that climb up the mountainside.

The mountainous terrain of Nagasaki seems to lend more dimension to its night view than places with flatter terrains have.

We also have meeting rooms

You can use this space for in-person or online meetings when you want a bit more quiet or privacy. You can also use it when you need a little more help concentrating on what you’re doing.

Hang out and interact with housemates in the spacious living room

We’ve designed this spacious living room to feel like home for those staying here for longer-term stays.

Sometimes we have potluck breakfast or dinner parties. We try to make Garden a fun and enjoyable place for everyone.

A kitchen with everything you need for home cooking!

Purchase fresh local ingredients from Nagasaki and make delicious home cooked meals right here at HafH Nagasaki Garden!

Cook for yourself or cook something together with your housemates.

Private Rooms

Rent: ¥120,000 for 2 months (tax incl.) – max. 1 person
¥69,000 (tax incl.) when staying for 1 month

Bedrooms are single private rooms with door locks and air conditioning. This makes HafH Nagasaki Garden great for both veteran colivers and for those who are new to shared living.

Each room can be locked, so you don’t have to worry about security.
※Layouts and space vary by room

**Room choice will be on a first come first serve basis.

Couples or families can also stay at Garden

Rent: ¥150,000 for 2 months (tax incl.) – max. 2 people
¥85,000 (tax incl.) when staying for only 1 month

The twin room comes with two semi-double beds, door lock, and air conditioning. Up to 2 people can stay in this room.
※When 2 people are staying in this room, there will be an additional fee of ¥5,000/mnth (tax incl.)

There is a lot of storage space, so a couple, family, or friends could stay here together without any problem.
