It's a bit of a walk from the station, but being in the Susukino area is convenient. The dormitory room has a space to dry laundry and a small wash area as well. The separator in the dormitory space is not a curtain but a roll screen, which is quite rare. The lounge on the 1st floor was smaller than I expected, so it might not be suitable for long working hours.

Although I previously didn't mind staying in hostels with shared facilities, I have since come to prefer having everything completed in my room, as it can be cumbersome to go to the bathroom at night in unpresentable attire or deal with crowded showers and washrooms in the morning. While the basics here are hostel-like, they do offer private rooms, and the water facilities are located within the room, addressing those issues. The room is simple, with only a bed and a refrigerator, with no chairs or tables. The refrigerator is small and can't hold much, but if you need a larger one, there's a shared option available, which is enough if you just want a drink in your room. There are no tables or chairs, so when I need to work, I use the shared lounge next to the lobby. Since there aren't many seats, it might not always be available for long periods, and you'll need to be mindful of busy times. The facility is clean, and it offers almost the same convenience as a business hotel, making it a good option for budget-friendly stays. When checking in, you can take one toothbrush, but no other amenities are provided, so you need to prepare for those yourself. Roomwear is also necessary, so it's important to keep that in mind as it reflects the hostel experience. The location is in the Susukino area, which is just a bit away from the downtown area, allowing for a quieter stay. I wish there were options to book twin rooms via hafh as well.
