This is a recommended hotel for those who want to fully enjoy Chatan American Village✨ The view from the room was amazing, overlooking American Village✨ Next to the hotel, there is a pool and an onsen, and there's a heated pool, so you can enjoy it all year round✨ The Sunset Beach in front of the hotel is a place where tourists gather during the day, and in the evening, it seems to turn into a relaxation spot for the locals✨ The Motobu beef at the breakfast buffet was incredibly delicious, and I enjoyed it every day✨ I also thoroughly enjoyed the famous night noodles from Kyoritsu Resort✨

About a 1-hour bus ride from Naha Airport. 🚌 There's a supermarket, American Village, and many shopping and dining options nearby, making it very convenient! ❗️ I was upgraded from a compact twin room to a spacious beach tower standard room 🥰. The view from the terrace was amazing! ❗️ Guests receive discount coupons for the adjacent facility, Chura-yu! ❗️ The hotel felt a bit old-fashioned. In the evening, I had a BBQ at the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. I was lucky to catch a glimpse of fireworks around 9 PM! 🎇 You can also have a BBQ near the beach outside. I heard they have fireworks every Saturday! ✨ In the morning, I added a breakfast buffet 🌟. The buffet venue was spacious and had a wide variety of options. 🌟 There were animals in the facility which was heartwarming 🥰. I took a walk since the beach is right in front of the hotel. 🚶‍♀️

If you want to spend New Year's in Okinawa, this is the place! The countdown party is the best

On New Year's Eve 2023, I stayed at The Beach Tower Okinawa (Kyourit Resort) and participated in the countdown party. New Year's is the high season when hotel prices soar, but The Beach Tower Okinawa allows you to use the travel subscription HafH, so I was able to stay for the same price as on weekdays, which was a fantastic deal! In conclusion, the countdown party can be enjoyed for free with the ticket distributed at check-in, and there is a grand lottery with luxurious prizes, so it was worth participating! The Beach Tower Okinawa (Kyourit Resort) is located 40 minutes by car from Naha Airport. We stayed at ‘Yukurin Resort’ near the Churaumi Aquarium for 2 nights, and then spent December 30th and 31st at The Beach Tower Okinawa. It is very close to the American Village, so you can enjoy shopping and marine leisure as well. The 300g lean steak at Steakhouse 88 was super delicious! The room was a standard twin with an ocean view and was very spacious! Even though it was winter, we were able to thoroughly enjoy the emerald green waters of Okinawa. On December 31, 2023, the countdown party is held in the banquet hall on the 2nd floor from 10 PM. At check-in, I received tickets worth 1,000 yen per person for the party, so I just took this ticket, my room key, and my smartphone to the banquet hall. The Beach Tower Okinawa is part of the Kyourit Resort chain and usually doesn’t offer the popular service of ‘Yakiniku Soba’, but during the countdown party, Okinawa soba is served for free!! The taste you’re wondering about ... is delicious!! Just like the ramen nighttime soba, Okinawa soba has a refreshing taste that won't leave you feeling heavy even when eating late at night. In Tokyo, there are long lines for nighttime soba, but there was no line at The Beach Tower, and it was very calm. Even on New Year's Eve and January 1st, almost all shops in American Village are open, so I recommend spending the countdown at The Beach Tower Okinawa! On New Year’s Day, I took a walk around the beach and American Village, and took the limousine bus to Naha Airport, departing at 11:06 to return to Tokyo. If you want to spend your New Year’s quietly in Okinawa, please consider making a reservation!

【Accommodation Experience】The Beach Tower Okinawa

This time, I came to The Beach Tower Okinawa located in Chatan, Okinawa with HafH. I stayed in Naha the previous night and moved a bit north to Chatan. It's about a 40-minute drive directly from Naha Airport. The Beach Tower Okinawa is a tower-shaped resort hotel with 280 rooms over 24 stories, which opened in 2004. From the upper floors, you can enjoy a stunning view of the sea right in front, and you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. I booked a compact twin room through HafH. At 24.5 square meters, it's honestly not very spacious. If you want a bit more room, the Beach Tower Standard may be better as the coin count is not much different. (I was unable to book on my desired dates...) HafH offers only a room-only plan. If you want to drink in your room while enjoying the stunning sunset view, it's convenient to shop at the nearby Aeon Chatan! There is a refrigerator under the TV, which is just the right size to keep your beer, breakfast for the next day, and bottled drinks. In the bathroom, I found the unit bath a bit cramped honestly... There is a bathtub, but I went to the adjacent 'Chura-Yu' at night. Looking only at the room, it seemed like an ordinary business hotel, and I thought, 'Huh?' for the coin count, but when I looked at the view from the balcony, I thought, 'I see.' You can see the Sunset Beach right in front of you. At the end of July when I stayed, the sunlight was too strong. Be careful because if you underestimate the direct sunlight of Okinawa, you might get hurt. (It's a level of sunlight that can burn you, not just tan.) Due to an approaching typhoon, swimming was prohibited. I'm glad I didn't swim in the sea. It was a bit disappointing that the only available rooms booked through HafH were compact twins and standards, and that the adjacent 'Chura-Yu' was an additional fee, but I was happy to be able to stay at The Beach Tower Okinawa, a landmark hotel in Chatan. On a sunny day, the sunset view from the room allows you to enjoy the best scenery. There are several HafH bases around Chatan, but I hope more hotels continue to increase.
