Comfortable Hotel Life Just One Station Away from Nagoya Station

I actually wanted to stay near Nagoya Station, but (I later found out) it was the night before the Nagoya Women's Marathon, so there weren't many options, and HafH coins were also quite expensive. So I went a little further away and took the subway for one station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Nagoya Station, so it's not impossible to walk. I thought I would walk both ways, but I ended up taking the subway as I was running a bit late in the morning… (On the bright side, it was good that the station was close!) The room type was 'Standard', but it was changed to the ladies' floor's 'Ladies Standard'☺️ ▼ Highlights (based on Ladies Standard) ・The 14th floor is the ladies' floor. 　You need a room key to access the floor after getting off the elevator. ・The entrance area of the room has a motion sensor (the light doesn't go off for 3 minutes) ・I discovered a luggage rack. ・There is a step by the bed where you can also place your luggage. ・There is a mini iron (for clothes) and a hair iron. ・Daiwa Roynet Hotel provides one bottle of water in the room. ・There is a large public bath. ▼ Access ・Subway: Higashiyama Line, Fushimi Station, 2 minutes on foot 　(Between Nagoya and Sakae, one station away each) ・JR Nagoya Station: 20 minutes on foot.

Completed the Nagoya Women's Marathon! Used it for pre-stay

I stayed overnight in preparation for the Nagoya Women's Marathon. Since it is the largest women's marathon in the world and there is no same-day registration (registration is only on the day before or the day before that), the hotel was full of marathon participants! 【Room】 The room was sufficient for my needs! I didn’t use it much this time, but the desk was very spacious and good for workcation. Air conditioning could be adjusted in each room, and there was also an air purifier, making it comfortable. 【Lounge】 There was free coffee and tea on the front floor, which was very convenient. There were also amenities such as cosmetics available on the front floor. 【Large public bath】 I chose this hotel mainly because of the large public bath. Be careful as there aren't many washing areas! They also had a Refa hairdryer, which was exciting. 【Others】 I heard from other athletes participating in the Nagoya Women’s Marathon that the hotel prices are usually three times higher? It was super expensive. (Maybe because an overnight stay was essential as mentioned earlier) In that regard, I felt lucky to have booked through HAFH!

Convenient Hotel with Large Public Bath

I thought it was a hotel that could be used for both work and sightseeing due to its good location. I appreciated that check-in was available from 2 PM. There was coffee and ice service at the front desk. The presence of a large public bath was also a deciding factor in choosing this facility.

A Refreshing Retreat in the Bustling Streets

The third-floor bath is great, but the separate bathroom in the room has a luxurious touch. The room wear is made of cotton for relaxation. The coffee and other amenities are simply delightful. You must try this hotel for a relaxing experience.

Excellent Location! Close to Station with Plenty of Shops Nearby

The nearest station is Fushimi, one station away from Nagoya. It takes 2-3 minutes to get to the hotel after you come above ground. I was given a ladies' room, which was equipped with a mini iron, hair iron, and a massage cushion. The pajamas, which were separated for top and bottom, felt very comfortable. The room was compact but had a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Amenities are available in the lobby where you can take what you need, from cleansing products to lotions and bath additives. Additionally, there's a coffee machine on the lobby floor that allows you to enjoy coffee freely anytime you want, which was a great point. With its convenient location close to the station, it was an overall highly satisfying stay.

[Nagoya Support Activities] Healing Hotel Stay

I used this hotel for participating in the concert at the Nagoya International Conference Hall Century Hall. First of all, the check-in time of 2 PM was a nice point. Being able to enter the room early allows for changing and increases the freedom of travel. I just happened to have an empty room and got a ladies' floor room. The room had a gentle Japanese atmosphere that was very comforting. The bed was arranged along the wall with indirect lighting, making it very relaxing. This hotel really has rich facilities and amenities I was impressed that everything I wanted was available! 《Front Desk》 ● Amenities: Cleansing, lotion, milk (Polaris), bath additive ● Free coffee machine and ice candy at the front desk 《Room》 ● Desk light with dimming function (perfect for PC work and reading) ● Charging cables compatible with various smartphones ● Massage cushion (divine...!!) ● Nano care dryer ● Panasonic steamer (great for smoothing out wrinkles on band T-shirts!) ● Separate top and bottom room wear (very comfortable) ○ Hair iron (maybe only on the women's floor?) 《Large Bath》 It's compact, but very clean, and the changing area was a bright and relaxing space. I couldn't use it this time due to timing, but the room service from the tonkatsu restaurant on the 1st floor is available for lunch and until 8 PM at night. Also, near by, about a 3-minute walk, is the coffee shop Karasu, which appeared in the drama "Midnight Diner." It seems to be a popular shop that has a line, I definitely want to try their morning set and the famous an toast next time. It was a beautiful and comfortable hotel that I definitely want to visit again.

Next time I go to Nagoya, I would like to stay at this hotel again, even though it’s a bit far from Nagoya Station. Here are some things I was personally happy about: - Check-in was a bit earlier at 2 PM. - I could relax without shoes. - The pajamas were separate tops and bottoms. - The room was equipped with a nano-ion hair dryer, curling dryer, massager, and steam iron. - There was a bath additive included in the amenity (I usually don't use public baths). - The window could open. - Even if I chose not to have my room cleaned, I could still have my linens exchanged. The amenities like the hairdryer might differ depending on the type of room. I had a regular room booked through HafH, but there was availability on the day, so I was able to switch to a women's floor room free of charge. Rather than using public baths, I often soak in the bath in my room with some bath additive, and I was glad that they provided bath additives at the amenity bar. Check-in was also a bit earlier, and the floors were designed so that I could take off my shoes inside the room, allowing me to refresh after a tiring travel day; I could take a shower and lie down comfortably before heading back out to the city. I believe this is common across all Daiwa Roynet hotels, but I appreciated that even when I declined cleaning, they would leave linens for the next day on the doorknob. When staying multiple nights, I often worry about whether my belongings will bother the cleaning staff or if something might accidentally get discarded, so I often decline cleaning. However, in those cases, I could still enjoy fresh towels and pajamas exchanged, allowing me to have a pleasant stay.
