I visited with a friend, but we had separate rooms and enjoyed the elegant hotel-like stay with large beds. The complimentary cafe was well-stocked, and the cafe au lait was particularly delicious.

The hotel is wonderful. I even saw wild foxes near the hotel. I'm happy that I could drink free coffee on the first floor. The quality of the bed was good, and I had a great sleep. There's a ski resort nearby for winter, and if I get another chance, I will stay again. The only downside is that the surroundings have a rural feeling.

I used this facility for a workation. On this day, after checking in, I had a lot to do such as online meetings and creating documents, so I focused on working in my room. The room had outlets everywhere, and the Wi-Fi was fast and stable, plus they provided water and tea, which I appreciated. Whenever my concentration waned or I felt a bit sleepy, I would relocate to the lounge space to refresh myself by sipping freshly brewed coffee while resuming work. Outside, vast fields stretched out, and just taking a deep breath cleared my mind. All the locations are similar in their hotel designs, creating a sense of security and trust. The staff were also kind, warmly welcoming me at check-in and seeing me off at checkout with a “please come again.” With all these charms, I would love to use Fairfield for workations again.

The hotel was stylish and very clean overall. It had an exotic atmosphere that boosted my mood just being in the room. There was no meal plan included, but there is the Minami Furano Road Station nearby where we could have dinner, so that wasn't an issue. There were also snacks available for purchase at the front desk. For breakfast, we bought bread at the roadside station and enjoyed it on the hotel terrace. Lavender was planted right in front of the terrace, making for a luxurious breakfast if the weather was nice. There is a microwave in the lobby, and we could also enjoy instant miso soup. I was pleased that the free coffee was from Kaldi, and the drip coffee in the room was also a Kaldi product. There is a coin laundry, which was convenient for families or those staying multiple nights.

This is a very beautiful hotel adjacent to the Minami Furano Road Station. Although the room only had a shower, it was sufficient for the summer season. Nearby, there is Kanayama Lake, and it was just the right season for lavender to be in bloom. I was told that there would be a fireworks festival on the day I stayed, and I unexpectedly enjoyed it.
