The Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park is a region blessed with breathtaking natural scenery. Mt. Myoko (2,454m) is known as one of Japan's most beautiful mountains, offering fantastic views no matter the season. Here, at the foot of this mountain, is where LIME RESORT MYOKO is located. During the winter season, this area experiences some of the heaviest snowfall in Japan; skiers from all over the world come and stay here, attracted by its abundant snowfall and range of slopes on offer. In the spring and summer seasons, a wide variety of highland flora grows, and in the autumn, the landscape turns a golden color as far as the eye can see. Winter sports are not the only thing to be enjoyed here. When the snow gives way to green grass, guests can also enjoy cross-country biking to Naena Waterfall, one of Japan's most famous waterfalls, hike up Mt. Myoko, try water activities at Lake Nojiri, and many other fun things to do with family and friends. Guests can end a day of activities by bathing in the resort’s own natural hot spring bath, dine on healthy cuisine using local ingredients at our restaurant, read from a wide selection of books at the Library Bar, take part in yoga lessons and training programs, work out at the gym, and much more. Guests can achieve a lifestyle that slowly brings the mind and body back to its best at LIME RESORT MYOKO. Access

Take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Nagano Station, and from there take the Kita Shinano Line (Shinano Railway) to Myoko Kogen Station. LIME RESORT MYOKO is an 8-minute taxi ride from the station. -or- Take the Myoko Haneuma Line to Myoko Kogen Station, then take an 8-minute taxi ride to reach us.

A Relaxed Workation in Myoko

The co-working space was right in front of me, and I had a stunning view of Mount Myoko from my room. That day marked the first snowfall, and as the autumn leaves were nearly gone, I was treated to a spectacular view of layered foliage. The sight of Mount Myoko shimmering in the morning glow is something I will never forget. I recommend accessing the place by car. However, you can also rent a bicycle at the co-working space, which is great for the tourist season. At night, I enjoyed the hot springs, and there was a working desk in my room, which made it easy to work while taking care of my autonomic nervous system. There’s also a very spacious kids' area, making it suitable for families too. This time I stayed without meals, but next time I’d like to come back during the snow season with my gear for a winter workation.

Affordable Resort Hotel Fun for Families During Off-Peak Season

I stayed during early summer. This time I used Huff to book my accommodation. Since it was the off-season, I was able to stay at a great price. The bed is a low bed, which is just the right height for children. Downstairs, there is an outdoor bath, and they even have baby chairs for men, which is nice. There are multiple baths available, so children who love baths can also have fun. On the first floor, there is a spacious area for children to play in, which helps burn off their energy. There is also a proper slide, which is great. On the third floor, there is a reading space, which is convenient to use before and after meals.

A Cozy Home-like Feeling During Off-Peak Season

Before the full start of the snow season, I wanted to enjoy the area at a leisurely pace. According to the locals, "this area is a hidden gem," and I was able to mingle with their peaceful everyday life! Perhaps because it was just before Christmas, the children were gifted picture books at check-in. We enjoyed the facility as a family, and the lounge area… the kids' space was also available for private use at certain times. We were able to relax slowly in the snowy scenery. I believe there were about three baths in the hot spring. It might change with the seasons, but adults enjoyed the winter yuzu bath, while the children liked the warm bath! There were baby chairs and baby soap available, making it convenient for families with infants. I utilized the local buses and hotel shuttles, making it easy to get around without a car for our family trip! Thank you!

I stayed with my mother and grandmother on Christmas Eve. Although it was a room-only plan at the Hafu, the room had a large table and we could borrow dishware (plates, spoons, forks, chopsticks). There was also a microwave in the coin laundry on the 3rd floor, so we bought a lot of things and had a party in our room! The hot spring had very good water quality, and my dry skin became moist and smooth.

We stayed at "Lime Resort Myoko" with HafH! LIME RESORT MYOKO is a hot spring resort hotel renovated from a former Kanpo no Yado building. Within a 3-minute walk of Imori Pond, Myoko Visitor Center, and MYOKO BASE CAMP, it's the perfect environment for teleworking while feeling nature! 【Free Shuttle Service】 Lime Resort Myoko is a 10-minute drive from Myoko Kogen Station on the Kita Shinano Line of the Shinano Railway. If you contact them in advance, they provide free shuttle service to the station. This free shuttle service is quite flexible and very convenient, so it's a good idea for those accessing by train to discuss their plans with the hotel. We were also helped by stopping at a shop (Alpen Brick) on the way to the hotel! 【Hotel】 The hotel lobby has nice indirect lighting with sofas arranged. When we checked in, there were foreign guests chatting with drinks from the adjacent Lime Cafe "MYOKO COFFEE," giving it a feeling of being overseas…! The lobby has a Cafe MYOKO COFFEE, and a North Face shop, making it convenient to casually buy seasonal outdoor gear like hats and sacoches. On the first floor, there is also Lime Big Room (gym), Lime Small Room (conference room), and Lime Kids Space, and I will introduce those later! 【Room】 As soon as you open the door, there's a washbasin, and beyond that, there is a toilet. This layout feels a bit nostalgic... While simply renovated, it brings back memories of the former Kanpo no Yado days. The main bedroom is quite spacious for two people. There is a low table and seat cushions, so you won’t have any trouble eating in the room. There’s also a desk by the window, making it easy to get work done with a view of greenery. The nightwear is a separate top-and-bottom type, common in super sento, made from stretchy material for ease of movement. 【Lounge】 Lime Resort Myoko has a lounge exclusively for guests (Lime Library Bar). From the large windows, you can see Mount Myoko, and the atmosphere is fantastic. There are plenty of books, making it a perfect space to relax. In the lounge, you can enjoy soft drinks for free. 【Kids Space】 The kids' space in Lime Resort Myoko includes slides, educational toys, a ball pool, and picture books. It's quite spacious and well-equipped. 【Gym】 There is a large gym on the first floor of Lime Resort Myoko. When using it, you need to speak to the front desk to get the key. It's rare to have a power rack that allows bench pressing and deadlifting. The number of dumbbells is quite large, so if you have knowledge of muscle training, the freedom and equipment are excellent for serious training. There’s enough free space for yoga and stretching, but cardio machines are limited to two exercise bikes, and there are no treadmills. 【Hot Spring Bath】 Lime Resort Myoko has a large hot spring bath in the basement. There are three outdoor rock baths and three Shigaraki clay pots for one person to relax in. There are no saunas or cold baths. Staying at a hotel in Myoko-Togakushi Renzan National Park, where you can feel nature, was truly wonderful. I was able to work comfortably in the room, and being just a 2-minute walk to MYOKO BASE CAMP also made it an ideal hotel for workation!

I used the hotel for a 2-night, 3-day workation. It was even better than I had imagined!! It ranks among the top hotels I've stayed in recently. The room had a spacious twin bed, a large table, and a makeup corner that also served as a workspace. I used it as my workspace. The closet is big enough so I didn’t have to leave my luggage out in the room. There was no bath in the room, but the public bath was very pleasant. It was luxurious to sip coffee bought from the coffee shop on the 1st floor while gazing at Myoko Mountain in front of me. When I got tired from work, I enjoyed walking around the nearby pond and visiting a handmade soba shop within walking distance. It was a very fulfilling experience. It's far away, but I want to go again!

With a calming interior atmosphere, we could spend time together as a family in a room where our children could move around safely. There are also kids' rooms and reading areas, so the children never got bored. It was also helpful to have the option to lay out futons for sleeping!
