For those coming by train ー Nearest Station ・From Shin-Kobe Station on the Shinkansen 　Take the municipal subway "Seishin-Yamanote Line" and get off at the first station, "Sannomiya Station". 　Exit the ticket gate and go to the ground at East Exit 3. 　Go through the "JR Sannomiya Station Central Exit" in front of you and head south. 　Go straight on the department store "Kobe Hankyu" Flower Road 　Turn left in front of the Kobe International Conference Center. (About 12 minutes on foot) ・From JR Sannomiya Station 　Exit the East Exit ticket gate and turn right. 　Turn left at the corner of "Japan Travel" and go straight ahead, and turn right in front of "Daiei" (AEON FOOD STYLE). 　Cross Route 2 and turn left, turn right at the corner of "Round One" and go straight. (About 7 minutes on foot) ・From Hankyu Kobe Sannomiya Station 　Exit the east ticket gate and turn right. 　Go straight on Flower Road and turn left in front of the Kobe International Conference Center. (About 8 minutes on foot) ・From Hanshin Kobe Sannomiya Station 　Exit the East Exit ticket gate to the left, exit A24 and go to the ground. 　Walk along the Port Liner (monorail) overpass 　Turn left at "Miyuki-dori" (about 5 minutes on foot)

The location was very convenient, just a short walk from Kobe Sannomiya Station. There was a FamilyMart below the station, so I didn’t have to walk far in the cold. There were also good dining options nearby, such as CoCo Ichibanya and Marugame Seimen. The amenities were well-stocked and I could just get what I needed from the front desk. There were also vending machines and a microwave, so I could prepare meals I bought from the convenience store below. The room was equipped with a humidifier, so I didn’t have to worry about dryness. Like all Daiwa Roynet Hotels, they provided plenty of water. The room, bath, and toilet were all thoroughly cleaned, allowing for a comfortable stay.

I took the elevator near Exit A25 of the East ticket gate of Hanshin Electric Railway Kobe Sannomiya Station to go up to the ground and to the hotel. At the front desk, I filled in my name and other details and checked in using a machine. There was one bottle of water in the room, and I had bought two more bottles at the Family Mart below, but it wasn’t enough, so I was grateful for that. The room, bed, and desk were spacious. There was sleepwear provided, but it was a long type without pants, so I wore my own pajamas. However, I sweated a lot after the morning bath, so I wished I had worn the sleepwear instead. (Taking a bath twice, once at night and once in the morning, helps relieve foot pain. A bathtub is essential.) The green tea was powdered tea and delicious. There was a microwave in the coin laundry on the 5th floor. The WiFi password was written in three places. There were three cups in the shelf under the desk. It’s one block off the main street, but there are more than three convenience stores nearby, and I returned to the hotel at 9:30 PM, but I felt safe there. I couldn’t find a locker, and on the second day, I went sightseeing on the opposite side of the station, so I left my luggage in the station’s coin locker. I couldn’t sleep until 3:30 in the morning, but since checkout was until 11 AM, I was able to leave without rushing. Check out was also done using a machine.
