More than enough space for one person. I compared during a two-night stay.

Stayed in February, 2025

On the first night, I stayed in a superior twin room and on the second night in a standard double room. I also wrote a story about the superior twin, but here I'm going to write about the 'standard double'. ★Access★ From Fukuoka City Subway 'Nakashukawabata Station' or 'Gofukumachi Station'. In terms of distance, Gofukumachi Station is closer, about a 3-minute walk. From Nakashukawabata Station, it’s a bit farther, but you can see Hakataza Theater. It’s about a 5-minute walk. Either way, the access from the airport or Hakata Station is excellent. Before check-in, there’s a self-locker area immediately to the left when you enter where you can store your suitcase. I was able to easily deposit it using the dial type. Check-in was handled at a counter with staff present. Amenities are self-service. On the first floor, there’s a lounge area where you can use a coffee machine. ★About the room★ - When entering the room, the light is not activated by inserting a card key, but instead by a switch. - The superior twin had a separate shower room and toilet, while the standard double had them in one space. - The washbasin in the superior twin was in the same space as the shower room, but the standard double had it outside. - There’s a switch panel by the pillow with outlets and USB ports, so there should be no issues charging. - The bed is spacious enough for one person to use comfortably. - The clock and speaker in the room can connect to Bluetooth, allowing you to link it with your smartphone. - Other amenities such as a refrigerator and kettle are also adequately provided. Compared to the twin room, the double room also had more than enough space, allowing for a comfortable stay. Its access from the airport and Hakata Station is excellent, and I think it’s perfect for solo travelers. There are several convenience stores nearby, making it convenient to pop out to buy food or drinks. Check-out is at 11 a.m., so it's recommended for those who want to relax.

A Convenient Hotel for Sightseeing and Concerts: Perfect for Any Scene.

I stayed for two consecutive nights in Hakata, with a Superior Twin room on the first day and a Standard Double room on the second day, due to room availability. I will write about my stay in the Superior Twin. ★Access★ From Fukuoka City Subway, either Nakasu-Kawabata Station or Gofuku-machi Station. In terms of proximity, Gofuku-machi Station is closer, about a 3-minute walk. For Nakasu-Kawabata Station, it’s a bit further, but you can see Hakataza Theatre on the way, about a 5-minute walk. Both access from the airport and Hakata Station are excellent. There’s a self-cloak service for baggage storage just to the left of the entrance where you can leave your suitcase before check-in. During check-in, I was attended by staff at the reception counter. Amenities are self-service. On the first floor, there’s a lounge space where you can use a coffee machine. ★About the Room★ -The electricity does not turn on when you insert a card key; it’s a switch type instead. -The room had ample space and the bed was spacious and comfortable. -Next to the pillow, there’s a power outlet and USB charging port, so charging devices is not an issue. -The toilet and shower room were separate. -The shower room was of standard size. -The washbasin was also user-friendly. -Both the refrigerator and air conditioner were easy to use. I didn't use it, but there is a gym available. There are also several convenience stores near the hotel. I stayed here to participate in sightseeing and a concert at Fukuoka Dome. The nearby subway station made it very convenient for sightseeing and accessing Fukuoka Dome. I had a comfortable stay without any inconveniences.

Beautiful and Modern Hotel with Lounge

Recommendation: ★★★★☆ (4 stars) Lounge: Available Pros: Clean facilities, suitable for remote work in the lounge (drinks are provided) Cons: None in particular. I stayed at the Hotel Oriental Express Fukuoka Nakasu Kawabata. The lobby floor has a lounge space available for guests, fully equipped with drinks. It is the ideal space for working remotely. The room was not particularly spacious, but the water area was clean and sufficient. Highly recommended.

[Hotel for Oshi Activities] Fukuoka Marine Messe

I used it as a hotel for Oshi activities in Fukuoka! There are many types of hotels at Hakata Station, I was torn between hotels near Hakata Station, around Tenjin Station, or Marine Messe, but in this case, I used a hotel located midway between Hakata Station and Marine Messe! With early check-in, there’s no hassle on the check-in day. The guest room has a big bed and a washbasin outside. It’s a shower room-style guest room. Having the washbasin outside was a great new experience! It saves the trouble of having to go into the room! The first floor has free drinks, and there were some people working and holding online meetings here. The coffee is free, so I think it’s quite a bargain! There was also wine, but I guess that’s limited to one glass? (I don’t drink, so I’m not sure) There’s also a park nearby, which is great for walks! Having a park nearby is nice for me to stroll around! And the checkout time is also 11 am, which is delightful! You can send your luggage from the airport to the hotel. For 550 yen, there’s a suitcase transport service from Fukuoka Airport to the hotel, and that’s available at this hotel too. The downside is that there is no service from hotel to the airport. But it’s nice to tour around without carrying your stuff, and the price is not much different from a coin locker!
