Access via the subway without transfers from Kyoto Station 🚇 The location is almost directly connected from the station and there is a member-only lounge. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for the city. A quiet, mature space. Perfect for those who want to spend such time at a hidden gem hotel in Kyoto.

Located about a 5-minute walk from the station, The Prince Hotel Takaraike 🏨 The friendly hotel staff informed me that this is also the Prince Hotel with the label "The Prince," which is a higher-end brand hotel! The hotel interior exuded a wonderful blend of modernity and traditional Japanese atmosphere. I also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel, which was very delicious and made for a satisfying stay.

When entering the hotel from the car drop-off, I was greeted by the 'Guardian Five-Leaf Pine.' The spacious lobby is filled with a pleasant aroma, which is very comforting. There was also a courtyard. With plenty of gym equipment, I was able to refresh myself during the trip, which tends to make one feel lack of exercise.

There are beautiful gardens and ponds, allowing you to enjoy a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The lobby lounge also had reasonably priced bread for sale.
