The room was just as I imagined. It was nice to have a large window. ◾️ Pros The youbike port is right nearby, and there's a bus stop close by too, making the location great. The room was comfortable and the staff at the front desk were kind. The hairdryer was a Panasonic Nano Care, which was nice to have. ◾️ Cons You can hear all the voices in the hallway. The bathroom has a slight sewage smell, but if you keep the ventilation fan on, it’s not too noticeable.

One of the troubles of overseas travel is finding a restroom. Since it's just a short distance from Ximen Station, the location allows you to go out for a bit and return to the hotel easily, which is really convenient. The toilet in the room is a washlet. On the front desk floor (5th floor), there's a lounge where you can always enjoy delicious coffee and other drinks, along with some light snacks, allowing for a cozy coffee break when you return while taking turns using the restroom. Since it was so comfortable, I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Taipei. Breakfast also includes items like salads and yogurt, which helps you stay healthy, so it's reassuring. However, there's no shower or changing area in the room, so I recommend it only if you're okay with sharing with friends who are fine with that. For those visiting Taipei for the first time, there's a bus that goes directly to Jiufen, which is very close and easy to access without getting lost. The convenience store below the hotel is also cute with a Hello Kitty collaboration.

This hotel is my favorite. I found out that you can stay here for a lower price in terms of coins compared to other booking sites (especially on weekends). I've been troubled by the rising accommodation costs in Taipei recently, but I thought it would be better to stay here rather than risk choosing a bad hotel... and I’ve ended up coming back here four times. The charm of this hotel: - The rooms are stylish. At first glance, the vertically stacked twin bed rooms look strange, but you can actually sleep soundly without worrying about your partner's gaze. - The free use of washing machines and dryers is incredibly helpful during hot summer days when you can wash your clothes easily! - The breakfast is delicious. It has a better quality compared to some business hotels, serving items like comb honey and smoked salmon. The variety isn’t huge, but it was sufficient. - The staff are generally kind and attentive. They listen and understand even with my poor English. - Ximen Station is nearby, so there is no shortage of restaurants and shopping. The trains are convenient, and if you can hop on the bus from the nearest bus stop, going to Taipei Station becomes even easier. The only downside is that the room doors are heavy, but I think once you stay here, you'll come to like this hotel.

A hotel loved by my 5-year-old and 1-year-old!

The room had two semi-double beds, allowing us to have plenty of space even with co-sleeping. The size of the room was the same as a twin room, but it had a table and chairs available for four people and wider bed width, making it recommended for families with children who co-sleep. Furthermore, my children were grateful that both lodging and breakfast fees were still free. In the lounge space near the front desk, there were board games available. During check-in, adults could drink coffee while children enjoyed the games. The staff kindly spoke to the children and gave them balloon art as a gift. Since it was Christmas season, there were gifts of drinks and snacks in the room, and the entrance of the room was decorated, creating a warm atmosphere. The kids enjoyed the kids' space and played there for a long time, allowing the adults to relax. My 5-year-old son’s best memory from this trip was the hotel’s kids' space! There are many shops nearby, so many people were taking out food and enjoying it leisurely at the hotel.

Great Value! A Comfortable Hotel with Free Lounge and Enjoyable Ximen

I felt that this location with breakfast included and such a low coin count was a great deal. There were various types of fruits, which I enjoyed eating deliciously. All the hotel staff communicated in simple English, so I had no trouble with communication. On my second day, I had booked a different room, but they helped carry my luggage in, which was great. In the lounge space, there were hot wine, snacks like cheese, and coffee and tea available for free. Many people were also eating takeout food and instant noodles. I thought the twin room might be small, but they made good use of the storage and other space, making it comfortable. Even though the room was small, the presence of a lounge space made it very relaxing. The signs for the toilet and shower room were so cute!

I chose this accommodation to enjoy the nights in Taipei and prepare for my flight the next morning. The bustling area is nearby, and shops are open late, so I could have a meal even if I arrived late at night. I could enjoy free coffee and tea in the lounge until 10 PM, and the space was spacious enough to work while sipping tea. Breakfast was also delicious, with a buffet that included both Taiwanese and Western dishes. I indulged in not just coffee and tea, but also yogurt drinks. The room had a separate shower room and toilet, making it very convenient! Plus, there was ample space, and a bench was available for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it!

I used it for a family trip with a stroller for three people: my 3-year-old and my husband. The room was well-equipped! Mini fridge Electric kettle Two bottles of water were provided There were tea and coffee packs. Also equipped with a Panasonic nano-ion hair dryer and a warm water bidet toilet. Hotel WiFi was also available. There was a mini table and chairs, making it convenient for light meals or using a computer. The room had enough space to easily open a suitcase. ☆ Good points ● Moving with a stroller was easy There was a slope from the hotel entrance, an elevator, and the hallway was spacious. I could push the stroller directly to the room without any steps or stairs. ● Coin laundry was free for washing and drying Detergent was purchased in a self-service style by putting 10 NT into a bottle. ● There was a playground and a gym for kids. ● A Sanrio collaboration 7-Eleven was right next door. ● Staff who spoke Japanese were also available. ● Excellent water pressure in the shower. ● Great location! → Rich in sightseeing and food options, and just a short walk to the MRT station, making it convenient for nearby sightseeing. ● There was a lounge in the lobby Open from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., with a free coffee maker and daily tea selections, and four types of snacks you could eat as much as you like. ● Hygiene was also satisfactory I noticed the smell of hypochlorous acid disinfectant in the hallway during the morning cleaning time, which gave me the impression that cleaning and disinfecting were done thoroughly. The room was clean without any bugs or dust. ● It’s a hotel where you can use Lucky Land vouchers. During my 3-night stay, I used Hafh for 2 nights and a lucky land voucher for 1 night with official reservations, and they handled it smoothly. The official reservation required prepayment, but they allowed me to use the Lucky Land vouchers worth 5000 NTD and refunded the difference for the prepaid card charges. Since it was my husband's birthday month, I also received a birthday gift with the official reservation! I received 2 bottles of premium oolong tea craft beer (a Regent Group exclusive priced at NTD 260 each), and my husband was pleased! It was a delicious beer with a noble aroma♡ ● You can inquire via the official email. The reply is fast! I wanted a bed guard for my 3-year-old daughter, so I sent an inquiry regarding the reservation to the email address on the official website, using Google Translate to send messages in English and Japanese, and the correspondence was smooth, with replies on the same day or by the next day, allowing me to make my reservations with peace of mind! ● A buffet with flavors loved by Japanese people This was the most delicious breakfast I've had at any hotel in Taiwan! The breakfast included classic rice porridge, rice, self-toasted bread, and cereals, along with options suitable for children. All the side dishes like beef and salmon had a mild taste, making them very enjoyable. There were enough varieties of side dishes that it didn't become tedious even for extended stays, and it changed daily. What I was particularly pleased with was the presence of honeycomb every morning! Topping yogurt with blueberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, and honey created a luxurious dessert that made me very satisfied♪ ● I visited in early November. The air conditioning temperature was just right. The temperature during my visit was suitable for a light long-sleeve season, and the air conditioning was neither too hot nor too cold, just right. ☆ Concerns ● If staying with two people, definitely choose the superior twin Due to room availability, I stayed in both a superior twin (2 beds) and a superior (1 bed); for a family with three people, one bed was actually cramped and difficult. For traveling families with small children, a room with two or more beds is better. While the room with one bed is allowed for up to two people, I felt the size of the bed was just barely acceptable for a group of two young women or a couple in their 20s. Photos of the superior twin room are included in another review. ● Those who want to use rinse, treatment, face wash, or laundry detergent should bring powdered laundry detergent with them. → The provided items were shampoo, rinse, and body soap. We are a family of three with a 3-year-old and traveling with a stroller. Please take this as a reference! ★ The room's amenities are well-equipped! There is a small refrigerator and an electric kettle, and two bottles of water are provided. There were packs of tea and coffee as well. The hairdryer is a Panasonic nano-ion hairdryer! The warm water toilet seat is also made by Panasonic! The coin laundry allows for both washing and drying for free. Detergent is self-service and costs 10 TWD to buy in a bottle. There was also a children's playground and gym! ★ Located just below a convenience store We arrived at Taoyuan around 22:00 by a budget airline, but check-in was until 0:00, so we hurried to the hotel by taxi. It was helpful that there was a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel for late-night snacks! It was a cute collaboration with Sanrio too! ★ Family-friendly staff who speak Japanese The reception staff appeared to be in their 20s and 30s, were kind to children and could speak Japanese. Everyone was friendly. They even gifted our child a balloon art during check-in and check-out. The hotel also has a simple ramp at the entrance, making it easy to move around with a stroller. ★ Playground for children There is a children's playground on the 8th floor that can be used until 22:00. My daughter was happy building houses with the big soft blocks and she got along well with the local boys. ★ Excellent location It's not far to take out food from the night market or food stalls in Ximen and eat it in the hotel without it getting cold. The hotel lobby lounge is open from 11:00 to 24:00, and there is a free coffee maker and daily-changing tea, and you can eat as many snacks of 4 varieties as you like. You can’t take food out, but you can bring in your own food. You can have tea in the hotel lobby for a break during sightseeing, and it was very comfortable not to have to worry about leaving my tired husband in the hotel while I went out! ★ Bath facilities The bath amenities include body soap and 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. It was a convenient accommodation, close to the nearest station and the bustling downtown! The breakfast had a variety of choices, and I enjoyed delicious fresh vegetables that are often lacking during my travels. I was too tired to use the gym, lounge, and kaleidoscope, so I plan to repeat this stay on my next trip to Taipei. Having a convenience store on the first floor was also very convenient!

The plane ticket I won was with Peach. It departed Kansai at 15:45 and arrived at Taoyuan Airport in 3 hours, and it took 35 minutes to get to Taipei Station by MRT from Taoyuan Airport. I checked in at 20:00 Taipei time after a 10-minute walk from the station. The location is Ximending, known as the Shibuya and Harajuku of Taiwan. I was surprised to see beds lined up in a row separated by a sofa, but it seems this was the result of effectively utilizing a narrow and long room. I stayed for 2 nights in a boutique hotel like Moxy. This stay included breakfast, a buffet style that begins at 7 am. I thought I could go to the morning market or a sandwich shop with soy milk if I didn't like it, but I ended up having breakfast here for both nights. The location is great, and it's a recommended hotel.

On a trip to Taiwan with my teenage children, I found Just Sleep Ximen when searching for a hotel near the young people's area of Ximen. The room was stylish, very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Free drinks, ice, and washing machines are available at no charge. The staff welcomed us warmly, making for a pleasant stay. As others have mentioned, the air conditioning is very strong throughout the building, so don't forget to bring a long sleeve shirt.
