As expected from Mercure. The lobby and rooms have a luxurious atmosphere and are lovely. The staff were very kind as well. It is located a bit away from the station in a residential area, so it was quiet and I could sleep well.

The interior is stylish, making it ideal for girls' trips and couples! The lounge and cafe area have a glamorous atmosphere, while the rooms are cozy and charming, making it enjoyable just to look at the decor◎ It seems to be an 8-minute walk from Kyoto Station, but in my case, I exited from a far exit and it took about 20 minutes on foot 😂 If you're going, it seems closer if you exit from the central gate of Kyoto Station!

I traveled to Kyoto by Shinkansen after work 🚄, and I chose this place because it's close to the station. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and the path is simple, so you won't get lost, but you might need to take care since the hotel entrance is not on the main road but on a side street 👀. Both the lobby and the rooms have cute interior designs that lift the travel mood on the first day◎. The base is modern, but there are also subtle hints of Japanese style in the wood and decorative accents, providing a perfect balance of Kyoto's essence! I didn’t use it this time, but the trattoria on the first floor was lively and had a good atmosphere. I heard the pizza is delicious, so I’ll definitely try it next time!

It's a bit of a walk from Kyoto Station, but the amazing thing about Kyoto is that you can enjoy the walk while you explore. The lobby makes a strong impression, but the rooms have an elegant design with lighting that gives a sense of Japanese style.
