"Oku" (奥) means "corner", and in Japanese spatial theory it roughly refers to the contrast between privacy, inwardness, and our daily lives. Hotel Tou rests on Nishinotoin Street in the corner, or "oku", between the UNESCO World Heritage "Nishi Hongwanji" and the important cultural property "Higashi Honganji". The use of light and shadows used in the design of this property combine to create the essence of Hotel Tou. A Hotel in a Quiet Area

Although it's a bit of a distance from the station, it is in a quiet area, so it was peaceful at night and comfortable inside the room. I didn't take many photos of breakfast, but I remember it being delicious. The road in front had plenty of taxis passing by, so I had no trouble finding one. There was also a convenience store nearby, which was convenient.

The hotel had a dark and modern interior that was quite impressive, just like in the pictures. The room was pretty compact, so it might be challenging if two people have a lot of luggage. The room also felt calming due to the dim lighting. There was a beautiful stone hot spring and a space to relax with tea and other drinks, which would be comfortable if it’s not crowded.
