Since it's a relatively new facility, the hotel was very clean. The bath and toilet were separate, so I could relax in the bath and even take a soak. The front desk had an amenities bar with body towels, bath additives, and skincare products, so it was convenient without bringing anything! There were four elevators, but it got quite crowded during check-out times. Also, there was a convenience store nearby, which was convenient.

The hotel is located within Huis Ten Bosch, so it's very convenient. I used the parking lot, which is next to the hotel and charges a fee. I wasn't sure about the check-in process, but I was able to manage by asking the hotel staff. It felt like a maze from the elevator to the room. The view from the room was a parking lot, which was a bit disappointing. I had booked Huis Ten Bosch entrance tickets online and was able to enter smoothly after asking the hotel staff. It was nice that I could directly access the hotel on my way back.

Enjoying Cherry Blossoms from Early Morning Night Cherry Viewing to Kanazawa Kenrokuen Night Illumination at the Strange Hotel

If it’s spring, it’s cherry blossoms! Considering places where cherry blossoms can be seen beautifully, I decided to visit Kenrokuen Garden. The accommodation I chose was "The Strange Hotel," which I had been curious about since it was featured on TV. Self-check-in has become quite common now, but at the time of the TV show, it wasn't so prevalent, and the robot dinosaur guiding guests was innovative. I wanted to follow the standard route of Kenrokuen → Kanazawa Castle → Gyokusen'inmaru Garden → Oyama Shrine, so I made a reservation at a hotel near Oyama Shrine. I checked in at 3:00 PM. It was easy to check in by just entering my name on the touchscreen. The dinosaur robot actually talks and guides guests. *There was an additional accommodation tax of 200 yen to pay. There are self-lockers on the first floor, so you can store your luggage before or after check-in. I had reserved a double-bed room, but they generously upgraded me to a twin-bed room. It had a separate bath and toilet which I prefer. Apparently, for the double-bed room, there is a unit bath. I liked that the sliding door separated the main room from the entrance! There were large windows, but since it was between buildings, there wasn't much of a view to enjoy. However, the size was ample for a solo stay. Personally, I was happy that the TV screen was large enough to watch while lying in bed. There is an ice machine and a laundry room on the second floor. A LAWSON convenience store nearby adds to its good location. I recommend it for those staying primarily for sightseeing!

I started my ANA status training from March, but I felt it would be a waste to do a day trip to Ishigaki Island, so I stayed overnight. With a location about a 10-minute walk from the island terminal, my room was spacious and reasonably priced. The welcome drink, ice service, and large public bath were all comfortable.

Stayed on April 6, 2025. The mural in Kiyoshi Yamashita's large public bath is a must-see. I couldn't have breakfast, so please leave a review if you visit. In the morning, I was taken to Minakami Station, then headed north to Kanazawa. When I got on the train, I was moved by the abundant snow.

A Hotel with a Great Location, Convenient for Haneda Airport

The hotel is located right near Oimachi Station. There is a large supermarket on the first floor, and a café on the second floor. It's very convenient for those who want to have a simple dinner in the room or want to enjoy drinks in their room. There is a super sento (public bath), but you only receive a ticket for one-time use. If you want to bathe a second time, it's charged separately. There’s an automated check-in and check-out system. It seems there's a system to store your luggage before check-in or after check-out. The loungewear is provided outside the elevators on each floor, so you can grab it yourself. Breakfast can also be added as an option.

Convenient and Great Value! A Hotel in Korea I Want to Make My Regular Stay

A calm and relatively new hotel with very clean rooms. There were no issues with the air conditioning or water pressure. The toilet can flush toilet paper. The front desk staff is polite. There is a vending machine in the lobby (see photo for contents). There is also a cafe, and it seems breakfast is available if reserved in advance. Since there are no amenities except for soap, it's recommended to bring your own toothbrush and slippers. If you bring a long charging cord (over 2 meters), you can use your phone charger by the bed (you'll need a Korean adapter). The desk turns into a dresser when you open the lid, which was convenient. Transport is easy, being within a 5-minute walk from both Ultrichro Samga (Euljiro 3-ga) and Jongno Samga (Jongno 3-ga), but I recommend Jongno Samga (Jongno 3-ga) since it has an escalator to ground level (Exit 14), making it easier when carrying a suitcase. There's a river right in front, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. You can also walk down the stairs to the promenade. It's a quiet area, so there aren't many people at night, but the riverside promenade is illuminated, and it faces a larger street, providing good visibility, so it does not feel lonely. There's a convenience store, Seven Eleven, nearby. I didn’t get a chance to visit, but Myeong-dong and the popular Anguk areas are also close by, so I really think the location is excellent. I plan to visit Korea again soon, but since my stays are often short, convenient and familiar locations are efficient and good value, so I made my next reservation at Venue G.

Having wanted to stay long-term in the Sunabe area of Chatan where I used to live, I chose this place. I was amazed to find that the old coastal warehouse has been transformed into such a stylish café and hostel! The dormitory was clean, and the layout with hangers, space for small items, and convenient outlets was excellent. I appreciate being placed in a female-only room. The shower room and water facilities were also clean 🧼 At night, it was convenient to bring food and drinks to the terrace and use the café as a lounge ☕︎ I would love to stay long-term again. This time, my husband and I visited Utsunomiya looking forward to eating dumplings and strawberries. We booked a twin room, and to my surprise, there were two semi-double beds of 140 cm each! I was delighted to have such a spacious place to relax comfortably. The room was also spacious enough to easily open two suitcases. Amenities were the type you pick up at the front desk, but there were no lotion or cleansing products available. However, it was only a 4-minute walk to the station, and the complex 'Utsunomiya Terrace,' directly connected to Utsunomiya Station’s East Exit, also housed Matsumoto Kiyoshi, making it easy to buy what I needed. The parking is in a multilevel structure, but if you are a guest, it's only 1000 yen per night. I thought it was great to find parking so close to the station for just 1000 yen. The room wear was a separate style. It was also equipped with an air purifier. Checkout could be done smoothly via machine. I forgot to take pictures, but the 'Utsunomiya Light Rail' was incredibly cool. Since the starting station is Utsunomiya East Exit, it might also delight children who love trains.

A Walk to Disney Sea! Kids Thrilled with Borrowed Picture Books

I walked slowly with my 3-year-old child and reached the baggage check at Disney Sea in about 10 minutes. If you go earlier than the first Disney Resort Line train, you can get a head start on waiting for the park to open! This time I made a reservation for two adults. I completely forgot to mention that I had a preschool child, but they processed it on the spot and upgraded us to a triple room that happened to be available. So nice. Usually, I have to share a small futon with my child, but this time we could use a spacious bed. The amenities were a buffet style in the front lobby on the first floor. There was also a toothbrush for kids. There is a picture book corner, and you can take books back to your room to read, which was a great help. There were Disney picture books too, which really excited the kids. I was a bit surprised to find the outside corridor when I got off the elevator on the 7th floor (the top floor), but there was no issue. The hotel itself is not too new or too old. The cleanliness is ◎. The unit bathroom was narrow, and it was difficult to wash the child, but it was within acceptable limits. Although I didn’t use it, there is a free bus service between Maihama Station and the hotel to both Land and Sea. The frequency is low, so be careful. My husband mentioned that it takes about 10 minutes to walk from Maihama Station to the hotel.

This time, I chose "OMO5 Okinawa Naha by Hoshino Resort" for a little 'urban stay' in the local area of Naha rather than tourism. It's within walking distance to the bustling streets of Naha, including the International Street and Matsuyama, making it super convenient to go to bed right after a night of drinking. There's also parking available, so it's safe for those who drive. Although it is not for tourism purposes, this location scores quite high from a tourist viewpoint as well. It's close to the bustling areas, yet smooth access to the airport, making it a viable base for travel. The rooms are simple but well-designed, spacious and comfortable enough for 2-3 people to stay. It was a 'just right' hotel that fits any scene, whether sightseeing, business, or local drinking.

I stayed here with my 5-year-old child as a place to visit friends in Fukuoka. It’s within walking distance from the subway and Nishitetsu stations. Right in front is a park, and since we visited during cherry blossom season, the view from the window of the park was beautiful (I think it depends on the room). The room was small but stylishly designed with big windows, so it didn’t feel cramped at all, and we had a comfortable stay. The bathroom only had a shower, but the water pressure was good, making it very pleasant, and even my child, who usually dislikes baths, liked it. Like many modern hotels, there were plenty of outlets and USB ports, which means there were no issues with charging devices, a big plus for us. The staff seemed to be from various countries, and while their customer service styles varied, overall it was pleasant, and I would definitely want to stay again the next time I’m in Fukuoka.

There is also a washing machine in the building, but this is for long-term guests, and short-term guests cannot use it. The room was clean and they offered housekeeping services if requested, making for a comfortable stay. What I particularly liked was the independent shower booth, which kept the bathroom area clean at all times. This is a rare feature in Korea and was very helpful. The location is very convenient, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. I would love to visit this hotel again.

This is my third time returning! I was able to stay at this hotel for 1050 coins on a weekend that typically costs about 70,000 yen on booking sites. Upon arrival, I was offered a welcome drink in the lobby lounge, allowing me to relax while enjoying the ocean view. If desired, I could also take drinks back to my room. What I love most about this inn is that my room has a half-open-air hot spring bath, allowing me to enjoy a bath at any time I like. Additionally, the large public bath is spacious, where you can slowly soak in the hot springs while looking at the sea and enjoy the sauna. When checking in, they inform you of the sunrise time for the next day, so if you go to the bath when the sun rises, you'll be treated to a spectacular view. The room is spacious, with a separate living area and bedroom. The presence of a mini-kitchen is a great bonus, making it easy for those with children to use. Tea and coffee were provided in the room. There was a coffee machine in the lobby, allowing me to enjoy unlimited cups for free! It was a machine that ground the beans each time, so the aroma was wonderful and the coffee was very tasty. I opted for the no-meal plan, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so I don't think you'll have any trouble. I had dinner from Kamesho Kuru Kuru Sushi to go and enjoyed it in my room! For breakfast, I bought bread from Tomonaga Pan the day before and had it with the lobby coffee. The staff was very kind, and I want to use this inn multiple times. Above all, the cost performance is excellent, and although I wish to keep this inn a secret, I really want many people to stay here! I will definitely return again!

However, this time, I booked through HafH, which had a limited-time offer that included free drinks, with no time restrictions. In addition to soft drinks, various types of alcohol, including sake, wine, and beer, were available for unlimited drinking. I’m incredibly happy! I want to go again. Unlike all-you-can-drink at an izakaya, having drinks after soaking in the hot springs at the hotel is the best. The room had an outdoor onsen with free-flowing hot spring water, and there was also an outdoor bath in the large public bath area, with a fireplace in the lobby… It was so relaxing that my fatigue and worries just disappeared. It's not just the unlimited drinks that make it great; the pleasant attitude of the staff, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the relaxed atmosphere of Hakone, which isn’t crowded—everything combined gives it a perfect score of 100. It’s not just expensive, cheap, or pretty. We wanted to retreat rather than tour. I booked this for my husband, who loves to drink and was tired from work, hoping to bring him some joy... and it was a huge success! A Relaxing Solo Trip in Hayama!

I wanted to see the ocean, so I took a quick 1.5-hour trip from Tokyo to Hayama! ⬜︎ Check-In Check-in here is a bit later at 16:00. I reserved through Hafh, and after stating my name, I could check in immediately, with breakfast reservation also available at that time. Breakfast reservations can be made up to the day before, and I had to decide the menu at the same time as making the reservation. I usually prefer Japanese food, so I chose the spam onigiri set! There were also French toast, minestrone, and gratin among four menu options. In addition to the plate, they had a buffet-style salad, cereals, and drinks (water, milk, orange juice, coffee, and hot drinks). If you have time, it seems nice to slowly enjoy coffee in the morning while working or reading. ⬜︎ 1F Indoor Area The indoor area was very clean, and the shared space (workspace) was well-equipped. It was separated into a tatami area and an area with tables and chairs. You can eat anywhere in this area, whether it’s breakfast, dinner, or in the cafe! ⬜︎ 5F Room (Mountain Side) I reserved a private room (mountain side) and spent my time inside! I chose mountain side as it was slightly cheaper, and the chirping of birds was soothing. The ocean view can be seen from the bath, so I think anyone who doesn’t have particular preferences can relax just fine from the mountain side. ⬜︎ Amenities In the 1F lobby, there are cotton swabs, combs, toothbrushes, shaving razors, and shaving cream. They also provided pajamas and slippers in the room, so for those who don’t mind, you don’t need to bring pajamas. *I don't know about the bunk room! There was also a refrigerator and electric kettle, so I enjoyed a leisurely stay with dinner brought back to the room. In the bathing area, besides shampoo, rinse, and body soap, there’s also cleansing and face wash (this was the information I wanted to know). If you need anything, it would be skincare items! There were oils and creams in the changing area, but I wasn’t sure if they were for the face... I took care of myself with what I brought! I hope this helps you if you're considering a stay!

It's a cozy two-story building, and the service of calling guests by name is quite exceptional. Breakfast is free for all guests, and includes local and Western dishes. During breakfast time, there's also a free 10-minute massage. They even offered to look after my child, so I took them up on it right away. The massage skills were impressive. The hotel's spa massage is $80 for 60 minutes (about 12,000 yen), which is a bargain for a five-star hotel. There's a sauna, and when I made a reservation, they said, "There's no other reservation, so it's all yours. Feel free to use it." There are dry and steam saunas, and gowns and disposable shorts are provided, so you can go hands-free. The gym is open 24 hours and does not require a reservation. The pool is open from 7 AM to 7 PM. Being small allows them to cherish each guest even more. Artworks are displayed all over the place, making it feel like being in an art museum. I stayed with my child and felt enveloped in happiness. In addition to traditional snacks during the turndown service, there was also a hotel-made chocolate gift. I regretted going out every day because I had such a wonderful stay at the hotel.

Stayed in March 2025. This is my second visit after December 2024. Connected directly to BTS Asoke Station and adjacent to MRT Sukhumvit Station. Both can be used without getting wet in the rain. Considering Bangkok's bumpy road conditions, having direct access to the station is definitely the best‼️ Even with a large suitcase, there are no issues at all. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, you only need to change trains once! It's easy. They will also hold your luggage after checkout, allowing you to play until the very last minute, which is a nice point. Additionally, right in front is the Terminal 21 shopping mall, open until 10 PM. It has a cinema, shops (for souvenirs, clothing, and miscellaneous goods), cafes, restaurants, a food court, and a supermarket in the basement, allowing you to spend all day here in the hot Bangkok. The night view from the rooftop bar in this hotel is amazing. Compared to other hotel bars, it is quite affordable. The staff are courteous and leave a good impression. It is also available for visitors with elementary school children. There is a pool right before the bar, with towels provided, making it hassle-free. Feeling like eating raw vegetables, I used 'Ume-no-Hana' on the second floor for breakfast. You can choose from four pre-set options of Japanese, Western, etc. Rice and miso soup are unlimited. There is a buffet table with drinks, raw vegetables, fruits, yogurt, toast, and natto, and I'm especially grateful that I can eat the raw vegetables without worries. The Moo Ping (grilled pork skewers) at the buffet table is delicious, so I recommend trying it if you get the chance. The room is more than satisfactory in size, and while there is no bathtub, the water facilities are clean, and the shower pressure is completely fine. The bathroom is also clean. The level of service is so good that you might forget you are in Bangkok, like in Japan. No voltage converter is needed, and I can use chargers and hair irons brought from Japan without any issues (see photo). The room includes disposable slippers and one-piece pajamas. Amenities include toothbrushes, shower caps, cotton swabs, and cotton. The hairdryer is Panasonic brand, and the airflow is good. The bathroom has body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The refrigerator has two bottles of water, plus two more bottles at room temperature, which is a nice service. Drip coffee, tea bags of black tea and green tea are included from the start; it's the best. In short, this is a perfectly relaxing room where you can comfortably unwind. Japanese TV programs can also be viewed as they are. Many staff members speak Japanese, so it's reassuring. There is a laundry facility on the lobby floor with two washing machines and two dryers. Ice service and a microwave are available. For laundry, you can purchase two tokens (200 baht) at the front desk. Each token comes with a bag of detergent and softener. Additional purchases are also possible. Washing takes 40 minutes and drying takes 60 minutes, making it recommended to run them while having breakfast. My stay at Omo5 Kumamoto was not just about lodging; it was an experience that served as a base to enjoy the entire city! Upon checking in, I was immediately taken aback by the design of the building. The art and decorations sprinkled throughout reflect the essence of Kumamoto 👀. From the café terrace, I could overlook Kumamoto Castle and the cityscape; there was even a kotatsu seat, making it a cozy place to relax! Entering the room, the pink and cute decor excited me!! I felt the beginning of my journey in the yager room that felt like a secret base, and it filled me with anticipation! I also participated in the hotel activity "Castle Town Saruku." Guided by a Kumamoto-loving OMO ranger, I explored the surroundings 👣. Experiencing the history of Kumamoto Castle while visiting hidden gems is something that you can only experience by joining Saruku! In the evening, I also took part in an activity where I could taste cocktails in the café lounge and receive recommendations for bars! It seems that there are over 100 bars densely packed around the hotel, and the staff kindly proposed recommendations to ensure I could enjoy myself, even though I usually don't go to bars. They were also supportive when it came to choosing restaurants for dinner, making me feel like I had a partner for my city walk ✨. My stay at Omo5 Kumamoto was truly enjoyable, only possible by stepping outside the hotel. Thanks to the staff who deepened my love for Kumamoto, I became a big fan of the city! I will definitely go back!

It was a newly designed, pop-themed hotel with playful touches everywhere, making it very comfortable! Access is immediate after exiting the underground passage at Exit 6 of Ximen Station. There is a cute 7-Eleven on the first floor. The front desk has a welcome bar as well. They provide free washing machines and dryers, which I highly recommend. Right next door, there is a massage parlor that was affordable and skilled. Breakfast was great with plenty of vegetables on offer. The room also had free mineral water, coffee, tea bags, and disposable slippers.

The bathroom has a slight sewage smell, but if you keep the ventilation fan on, it’s not too noticeable.

The hotel is located in a corner of downtown Tsukuba, about a 10-minute bus ride from Tsukuba Station. The lobby is spacious and clean, and after checking in, I was able to enjoy free coffee and juice. The room has a furniture layout that I personally think is perfect! There's a sofa and table next to the bed, making it very comfortable to watch TV from both the sofa and the bed. Also, the TV had access to Netflix and YouTube, which was another pleasant point. Furthermore, the table was large and convenient for working on my computer or having a simple meal. The toilet and bath were also clean and relatively spacious. The large public bath is available until midnight, and I used it, enjoying a nearly private bathing experience, which I was very satisfied with. It’s a clean and very comfortable room, conveniently located near a drinking district and a convenience store (Seven-Eleven), making it an excellent hotel.

My first trip to Hokkaido with the beloved OMO series! I ventured into Hakodate, which had good reviews. It's a 3-5 minute walk from the station. Convenience stores are 3 minutes away. You can get to the popular morning market in just 5 minutes The location is really good. If you want to visit the red brick warehouses, Goryokaku, or the ropeway, you can conveniently take the free bus!! The free buses are a bit limited, but if you miss one, there are plenty of options like the city streetcar and municipal buses. Even taking a taxi to the red brick warehouse only costs about 700 yen. The rooms are simple, but perfect for us who just sleep as we go to the lounge and hot springs ♡ The OMO hotel cafe is very selective, so you must eat there!!! This time I had 3 types of salted fish, squid goro potato, mixed gelato, and craft beer. I ate everything and it was all delicious!!! Even though I’m not good at salted fish, I ended up eating it all by myself ♡ I stayed for 2 nights because there were so many things I wanted to eat at the market, but I didn’t have time to eat breakfast 🙏 I want to do a revenge trip. With this number of coins, I could stay and use the bus. There are hot springs, good atmosphere, and good location. There is nothing to complain about! I will repeat it again ❤️

Everything, including the room, was stylish & simple. It was very spacious, so I could relax comfortably. Although the toilet and bath are not separate, I filled the bathtub with water and added my favorite bath salts that I brought along, soaking leisurely. After bathing, I enjoyed a slightly expensive ice cream bought from a convenience store while doing a facial mask. I slept soundly. It's safe even for solo travelers. It has become one of the hotels I want to visit again♡

I finally visited Suiden Terrace! I enjoyed a cozy stay with a hot spring spa, a library, and local cuisine. I was glad that I had made a reservation with HafH which allows cancellations up to the day before since my original reservation date was canceled due to snowfall. I successfully rebooked for the following week and was able to stay without issue. During the weekend in early March, I noticed many families with children and multigenerational stays. Although the highlight ‘Suiden’ was not visible during this time, the entire facility had a lovely design allowing me to forget about daily life and refresh. There is a shop next to the front desk, but it only sells souvenirs. For snacks and other daily necessities, you need to go to a convenience store about a five-minute walk outside. There was a vending machine in the accommodation building, so I got beverages from there.

I thought I would go for a buffet breakfast in the morning, but I ended up choosing lounge breakfast due to additional charges for the children's meals. I regretted not selecting the Japanese restaurant instead, thinking I could just go to the lounge if I needed more, as I didn't have to order for the children there.
